Love crate and barrel’s product, but the customer service of this particular store really sucks. Ppl at the register don’t know how to do simple returns. Forgot to print my receipt for the new items I purchased and didn’t know how to reprint. Over-charged me for the items purchased with no apologies. What could be done in other stores in 5min. I had to wait tor over 40min at this store.

Yesterday I went to this store location to return a kitchen appliance that had several issues. When originally bought, the item had been used and was dirty. I called and explained the item had been clearly used and returned by original buyer and asked if they had another item - they didn’t. They have me a 10% refund. I cleaned the item and moved on. When I put the item in my use, the item was faulty and leaked everywhere. I then wanted to return to store for a full refund and for what should have been a simple explanation and return to the store associates, turned into an extremely rude customer service experience. The manager Tabitha and another silver haired lady were being extremely posh and rude to me. They were not understanding or listening to me explain why I am returning the item. The silver head lady interrupted me twice when I was trying to explain to her a third time. They told me a full amount had already been refunded when only 10% was originally refunded, they told me that it had been past 30 days for return when it was 10 days until 30 days. None of this was true and I provided email receipts and bank transaction proof. Three key things here - they sold me a used, visibility dirty kitchen item. The item spout was faulty, leaked and was unusable. The return process was humiliating and blamed on me when this could have been avoided in the first place if they would have looked at the item in the box when it was originally returned!!

Erin at the design desk was incredible! She helped me perfectly choose several pieces including a couch and lovely side table and even helped me with smaller decorative pieces. She was very thoughtful and I had such a good experience that I will make sure to go to Crate and Barrel as my first stop for any home needs.

It's been a long while (2018!) since I stepped into a Crate & Barrel. The last time, I found it expensive, pretentious and very high end. So with some time before my meetup at the restaurant across the way, I popped in here to have my expectations met. And no, they were not. Sure, there are some high prices on some items but the sort of stuff that I now decorate with? The tableware is very reasonably priced. The decor had some deals. The cookware was not outrageous. Sure, it's more expensive than the pots and pans you're buying at Walmart but this set of plain white dishes and bowls and cups? Simply lovely and not at all over priced. As I browsed, I was asked once or twice if I needed any help but it was never obtrusive and my simply "Just looking" let them know that I did not need assistance. Refreshing to not be bothered by salespeople. Delightful!
