Crocker Art Museum Art Mix December 2025! Art Mix is second Thursday of every month. The December party was so much fun! AMAZING Drag Queens!! The costumes, singing, dancing, overall performance was everything! Keep it up ladies!!! Pictures and videos NSFW. Great new exhibit with a Frida self-portrait. Have been to many Art Mixes and the Crocker always does an exceptional job of putting on a great party. It’s 18+ for the Art Mix.
Wonderful Museum! I had a lot of fun with my four-year-old daughter at the Noon Years Eve event. Her favorite part was the elevators! Ha, but the puppet show was great. She started pretending to put her own shows at home after that. She also had fun posing with a lot of the art.
Been living in Sac for 3 years now and never went to this place until last week. Boy, was it a pleasant surprise! The amount of interesting, beautiful, jaw-dropping pieces were a delight! You can easily spend half a day in this maze of a museum!
Not being native of sacramento I've never been there before. It was very nice. There was a lot to see.We didn't have enough time in a day. We will have to go back again and the price was perfect.
This is one of the best art museums I’ve ever visited. I was impressed by the breadth of time periods and media, as well as the focus on California art and artists who spent most of their lives here. I wish I had time to see everything! You could easily spend all day here. Of special note is the unique descriptions for almost ever single piece on display in the permanent collection that gave immense detail on the artist, subject, and “what to focus on” that helps give special context on the piece.
