Was confused by Google maps saying to walk on water when a small ferry appeared to save me a long walk around, cost £1.30 and a nice chat from the captain

I'd give this 0 stars if possible due to the extremely rude man operating the boat river crossing!! I stopped to ask the man if they allowed dogs on the boat and said I'd be back in a few days. He seemed pleasant enough but as I walked away he mocked me to the customers on the boat sarcastically announcing "thanks very much for looking at my sign and saving me my breath!" First of all there was no sign on the boat at all which to my mind would be logical and by the state of the boat would also only take him about 5 minutes to make. Secondly I'd rather walk than encourage rude people like this to offer services in the beautiful city if Bristol! You're letting the place down mate! Maybe it's time to find another vocation if you hate members of the public that much! Lastly, instead of blaming customers for not reading your sign along the rivers edge which was not branded to the boat or obvious in any way, maybe you could add a sign to your boat along with the one whoch states the price! Not a very intelligent business model to blame others and put people off using your service and putting money in your pocket when you could just add the info on your boat! I'll be walking the 4k instead of getting on your boat. Extremely rude!!
