I’ve been attending Crunch Fitness since July 2025. Before this, I was going to Planet Fitness, which I really loved, but I decided to switch because Crunch offers daycare—being able to leave your baby while you work out is a huge plus. It did take me a little while to really like it. The daycare is limited to an hour and a half, so sometimes you feel rushed trying to finish your workout. However, once I got used to it, I started to really enjoy the gym. They offer a great variety of classes, along with amenities like a sauna, red light therapy, personal trainers, and more. Overall, it’s been a great experience, and I’ve grown to really love it.
My overall experience with this gym has been elevated by their exceptional commitment to member input. After voicing a specific opinion, I was truly impressed by how seriously the management not only listened but actively took my suggestions into consideration. It's rare to feel like a gym values its community to this degree; the staff made me feel like my perspective mattered and clearly appreciated my voice being heard. This proactive responsiveness transforms a simple membership into a supportive partnership, ensuring the environment continually improves for everyone.
I’m writing this because what happened at this gym’s daycare was completely unacceptable and left me feeling uncomfortable, disrespected, and very disappointed. I dropped off my youngest daughter at the daycare, fully registered, photo taken, procedures followed, so they would know she can only be released to me. After my workout, I went to pick her up and was told she wasn’t there. Nobody seemed to know where she was, and the situation immediately made me feel uneasy. I called my older daughter, who told me she had my youngest with her. The problem? The daycare staff released my child to someone without verifying anything, not checking their system, not confirming identity, nothing. My daughter simply walked out with there, and they let it happen. They actually opened the door for her. I was on the phone inside the daycare when my daughter told me she had my little one, and I told th employee my daughter was with her sister. Me not even knowing how that happened?? It I was the one who needs to check her out??? As I was stepping out, that’s when the employee said to me, with attitude and rudeness , that I was the one who was supposed to check my daughter out. I simply responded, “This is your fault. I didn’t send anyone. Why would you let her leave with someone you don’t even know?” They allowed my daughter to leave with someone without confirming anything, even though I followed all their procedures. Later, while I was still trying to locate my other daughters, and making sure my youngest was with them I walked to the restroom but two more employees came up to me with unnecessary attitude in front of others, telling me my daughter shouldn’t be in the adult restroom. Under normal circumstances, that would be understandable, but at that moment I was still trying to figure out what had happened, and this situation was caused by their mistake, not mine. The lack of accountability, the dismissive behavior, and the attitude from multiple employees made me feel extremely uncomfortable. After this experience, I honestly don’t know how I could trust them with my daughter again. And all this happened at night! Before they closed the daycare. Parents bring their children to daycare expecting safety and professionalism, neither of which were shown that tonight. This is unbelievable!!
I absolutely love this gym and the classes! The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. It can get pretty busy sometimes, but there are plenty of machines to choose from. That said, Maggie’s ride classes can get a bit repetitive — she often uses the same music and sometimes Acts like she’s “watching” us rather than actually working out. Coming from a spinning studio background , I think she might not be the best fit for spinning instruction. Sonia’s ride class feels like she’s teaching Zumba. Michelle is fantastic! Her energy and vibe really make the classes fun. However, she often cancels her classes, and then Maggie steps in, which can be a bit frustrating. Myra is a wonderful instructor too — it would be great to see her teach more cycling classes. And please, if a bike isn’t working, could it be fixed? Thanks so much! 🙏🏽
Review changed from 1 to 5 stars because they put ten dollars of batteries in their clocks and changed their clocks, but they totally ignored me for a while until I gave them 1 star so if you want to see change, tell them. If they ignore you, give them 1 star. They still kept their analogs so we'll see if they keep up with them. I'd give them 4 stars for the hassle, but the value decimates the competition so they deserve 5 stars. Previous review: I'll switch this to more stars when they get rid of all the analog clocks on the wall that are wrong all the time. Some have been wrong since they've opened. If they put batteries in all them that just means they'll be wrong for years ahead. Just take them down because there is no one interested in putting batteries in them or keeping them. The weeds got finally cut down after a year. Parking still a nightmare and going to get worse when these two places open up in front and next door. The inside is great. The people are great except for their clocks. The value is fantastic. Again, I'll change the Stars if get rid of the clocks.
