Crunch Fitness - San Antonio Windcrest

This is a very new gym, and the facilities are generally pretty clean. A stark contrast to the typical Crunch location here in SAT. It’s got a good selection of equipment, and a decently sized sauna. There are only 3 showers, but if you come during a less busy time you usually don’t have to wait. They do already have roaches though, likely brought in by someone. I notified the employee at the front desk on my way out tonight, but his response was “that’s not my job”. So hopefully whoever’s job it is to order pest control gets it done.

Love the ladies in kids crunch. Also clean and safe for children.My child Absolutely loves Ms Tammy .My child calls her Ms T and she is his favorite. I absolutely love how she greet parents and children with open arms. She has truly helped my son come out of his shyness. Ms Tammy is so sweet polite ,very dedicated and very professional. I feel so comfortable when my son is in her care. I've seen Ms Tammy work so hard when it's busy . That lady is so awesome. It really shows that she really loves her job because how she interact with kids . Even when a member might be new and a child is crying Ms Tammy always step in to reassure the parent that their child will be okay and she actually plays with the child. Only reason why I continue to go the gym because my child wants to go hang out with Ms Tammy. Ms Tammy is a very hard worker and very compassionate and caring. If I could give her an award then I would Thank you Ms Tammy keep up the amazing work

This gym is hands up hardcore progressional, fun, and serious about their customers and clients. Everyone is positively supportive and dedicated in improving one’s goals. From the front desk to the PT Team, they listen, assess, and examine where you are and they start you there. My personal trainer Giancarlo, listens and understands where I want to be and pushes me harder than I’ve never thought possible. Kyle is another great PT. You know those videos we see on Pinterest or YouTube, the ones we start in our heads but never in real time. Welp, He has help me to become better, stronger, and off the top convinced that I can confidently do these workout safely and efficiently and at my own pace. I highly recommend getting with these pros for a better you. You just haven’t met that side of you yet. They’re there now, patiently waiting to get you there. ♥️ 💪🏽. -Love Eva.

This would have been a 5-star rating; however, I am reducing it to 4 due to the lack of professionalism I experienced. I do not appreciate being addressed in a manner that feels condescending. When speaking to a gym member, a basic greeting such as “hello,” along with a polite “please,” is standard courtesy. To my recollection, this particular staff member has never greeted me before. She approached me only to question whether I had taken equipment from the Zumba room and instructed me to return it. While she did say “thank you” at the end, the overall tone was unnecessarily demanding. I am an adult and expect to be treated accordingly. I believe her name is Liz; she was wearing a black polo shirt that day. On the other hand, the rest of the staff at this location consistently demonstrate exceptional professionalism and create a welcoming environment. I am always greeted individually, and it is evident that they take pride in their work. I know one of them is named Brooke—I expressed my appreciation to her directly on a particularly difficult day, and her kindness stood out. The other two employees, whose names I do not know, are equally commendable: one has dark blonde/brown hair with pink ends, and the other has burgundy hair and typically wears a headband. Having worked in customer service for many years, I quickly recognize genuine professionalism, and these three employees exemplify it. They absolutely deserve recognition—and a raise.

The location is perfect for me and I really love the Hot Pilates class! I do wish they offered more evening classes for Hot Pilates. There is only 2 classes a week for Hot Pilates after 5pm. Both days the classes get extremely full right away. Currently the bathrooms/locker rooms are closed which is really inconvenient especially if you need to change. The portable potty trailers outside are pretty small. They are not horrible though. Every time I have used the outside trailers they have always been clean. I really hope they get the bathrooms/lockers up and running soon. Really been wanting to use the sauna lately (which is located inside the locker room) but can’t due to the locker room being closed. I have to say the one time I did use the sauna it was not very hot. It was just “warm”
