We’ve had such a wonderful experience with Cuddles Academy! Meghan is an incredible caregiver. She is detail-oriented, attentive, and genuinely cares about the children in her care. We enrolled our baby at 11 months, and in just a few months we’ve seen so much growth. Being raised by an excellent local childcare provider myself, I was picky in my hunt for the right caregiver for my daughter. Among the many things I admire about Ms. Megan is her professionalism and expertise. She is truly an excellent home childcare provider. The best of the best. You could look all over San Diego, Lemon Grove, and La Mesa and not find a better person to work and trust with your child. We spent three wonderful years at Cuddles Academy (from age 1-4 exactly), and I am so thankful for every single day. The peace of mind for me and nurturing for my kiddo was priceless. Even our bigger kid (pictured here), who never got to have Megan as a teacher and caregiver, loves and adores her. Megan is one-of-a-kind and we will miss her very much!
We were initially hesitant to send our 11 month old son to ANY daycare, but when we found Megan and Cuddles we felt completely comfortable knowing that our kid would be in the best hands. Now more than a year and a half later our 2.5 yr old has learned so much from how to put his own shoes on, covering his mouth when he coughs, saying excuse me, putting toys in the right places, and pushing his chair in. Megan’s philosophy of learn by playing brings out the best in our son. Each day I’m so excited to hear what he did that day and see what new things he learned. I couldn’t imagine a better place and person to have watch my kid day in and day out.

From the moment we enrolled our son when he was 16 months old (our first child so we were notably nervous in our search), we noticed the exceptional quality of care and attention provided. The children have access to a safe, spacious, and well-maintained yard where they can explore, play, and connect with nature. The variety of outdoor activities and equipment is truly impressive, fostering not just physical activity but also creativity and social interaction. Megan also excels in promoting self-help skills. She is dedicated to helping each child develop independence and confidence through age-appropriate tasks and activities. My child has become more self-reliant and capable, thanks to her thoughtful guidance and encouragement. The nurturing environment at Cuddles is another highlight. Megan is warm and genuinely invested in each child's well-being. She creates an atmosphere where children feel secure and valued, and my son absolutely loved the time he spent there with Megan and all his friends. He often ran in without looking back at drop-off and was bummed to leave at the end of the day. Likely my favorite aspect of Cuddles Academy is the individualized attention each child receives. Megan takes the time to understand each child's unique personality, strengths, and areas for growth, tailoring her approach accordingly and working to create consistency between our home and hers. This individualized attention has made a significant positive impact on my son's overall development. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the care provided by Megan for the 15 months we had our son enrolled, and if it weren’t for moving out of state, we would have stayed with her until he reached school age. The combination of an amazing outdoor space, focus on self-help skills, nurturing environment, and individualized attention makes it an outstanding choice for any parent seeking the best for their child. I highly recommend to any family looking for a loving and enriching daycare experience.
Our son attended cuddles academy for over 2 years and we are so grateful for everything he learned while under Megan’s care.
