Laura has a sneaky habit of making you incredibly relaxed and getting very natural reactions and expressions. Not only does this mean better end results but also the shoot is really good fun! She was happy for my kids to come along for the experience as well and Laura was great at involving them, making them feel welcome and special! Thanks Laura, great shots that’ll really help me!

We used Laura for our recent staff and brand photo shoot and are over the moon with the results. By carefully taking the time to structure workshops for the team, improve their confidence in front of the camera and let their personalities shine - we now have stunning photography and can't wait to use it across our website and other promotional material. Laura has taken some great photos, I'm so pleased with them. It was a pleasure to meet her and spend a bit of time with her. She made the session very relaxed, fun and informal. I would highly recommend her to anyone wishing to tell their personal business story. I think she really understood my jewellery and pitched the photos sympathetically with my style as a maker. We were drawn to curious rose because of her uncringe, documentary style photos. A lot of her photographs really reminded us of Martin Parr which was also a big draw for us. Her pictures came across a less traditional, cooler way to have a wedding documented which we loved. As soon as we had our initial meeting and calls, Laura made us feel so comfortable and confident in our decision. It was just like talking to a friend. A lot of our guests mentioned how friendly she was and we were sad to see her leave at the end of the night. On the day she guided us through the photographs so amazingly. We’re abit camera shy so she really put us at ease and made it feel so natural for us.On the morning of the wedding Laura slotted right into the bridal party, she was so encouraging which really helped our confidence. Also looking back through the photos, there are some moments I don’t even remember seeing her around at the time, she’s so good it being in the right place at the right time, unnoticed! If you’re looking for a different take on wedding photos that will tell a whole story of the day, that are dynamic and not overly posed pictures curious rose is for you! She’s so good a capturing the cute little moments you don’t get the time to notice on the day. Our favourite photos are the candid pictures of us our friend and family, we really feel like she captured the character and vibe of the day perfectly. We can’t recommend curious rose enough, 1000/10.

Laura took the photos for my sister's wedding in 2019 and they were beautiful, so when I got engaged I knew I would ask her to do the same for us. I didn't feel like the most natural bride, and my husband doesn't feel especially comfortable in front of the camera, but Laura made us feel relaxed and comfortable from our very first conversation. On the day, she was such a cool and calming presence, she did the perfect blend of traditional photos while also absolutely going with the vibe of the day and some of our friend's sillier suggestions. A lot of guests said to me afterwards that our photographer was a legend! Most importantly, the photos feel completely 'us' and they show the joy and happiness of the day. I can't thank her enough for her kindness, time and talent in capturing them.
