Hey, I went over here on Saturday and had my system put in. And these guys were excellent. They were courteous, they knew their stuff, and today my system came apart. And wouldn't start up and I just love the fact that all I had to do was give them a call. And the warranty included. They just switched it right on out. It was no problem. I just want to say thank you to the entire crew. You guys are phenomenal, you detailed my truck. You made life easier for me. And I just pray that you guys. I'll just continue to receive blessings. And that your business increase

It used to be a good spot, but now its not worth it. I just recently recently went by to see about getting my tint warranty replacement since I got it 3 yrs ago with life time warranty and paid $600-$700 for tint. Just to be told it can't be replaced since they don't carry the brand that was placed on my car. But was told i can buy new tint from them.

I recommend Gus and his crew they are very professional and experienced. Gus showed a great attitude and professionalism from the minute I walked in. Gus and his crew took the time in explaining to me any questions I had about my system before my sprinter was pulled out of the shop. Thank you Gus!!

Walked into Custom Sounds on San Pedro early in the week, and Gus immediately made me feel comfortable — no pressure, no upsell. He recommended the perfect speaker fit for my ‘08 Lexus roadster and when I mentioned I preferred to go wireless, he suggested Kenwood monitor with receiver which can support up to four wireless cameras. Even with an add on 3-year warranty, I saved over $2,000 compared to another shop’s quote! Gus squeezed me in same-day. Despite a delay from another complex job, they stayed late to make sure I left with my new system, replacing my old Mark Levinson setup. Ed, my installer, has 30+ years of experience and it showed. My car wasn’t easy to work on, but he tackled every challenge and replaced my crackling speakers & upgraded my audio system. Though after many attempts, the steering wheel buttons couldn’t be integrated, Ed was upfront and explained limitations with Lexus setup. Both Gus and Ed were phenomenal — professional, knowledgeable, and transparent. No surprise why 8 out of 10 people told me to go here, and I’m so glad I listened. They did not disappoint! Bonus: the waiting area is really nice too.

After years of trying to get them to fix their work I decided to fix myself. Getting them to warranty their work on a weekend is like pulling teeth. They side mounted a JL 300/4 amp using 1 screw and 2 way tape that only lasted a few weeks before it fell. The 1000/1 They mounted it too low on the back seat to where it messed up the rca inputs due to hitting trunk liner. Overall just real sloppy job that cost me my JL 1000/1V2. Tried taking it back years ago on a few different weekends but they kept telling me to drop if off during the week. I need my car during the week and don't understand if I had work done on weekend...why can't you fix it on a weekend? They'll take your money on a weekend but won't warranty it on a weekend. Only when it's convenient for them. They mounted 6x9s very sloppy using wrong screws. Wiring was horrible. Remote wire was exposed.You guys need to start drug testing your employees as this looked like a meth head installation. If I wasn't working 70+hours I would've done it myself and done a wayyy better job. Can't speak for everyone but my experience was not good. I will NEVER take my cars there again This was the San Pedro location
