Cynthia Dawson Photography is absolutely amazing! We have used her services 3 different times in the past few years and are always so, so happy with our pictures! At the Christmas tree farm, for our maternity shoot, and lastly our newborn's first pictures and which is ultimately our family's first picture together. My wife, 3 year old son, and I had the great privilege of working with Cynthia Dawson Photography on a recent photoshoot. We had looked for Toledo family photography and Cynthia was recommended to us. We could not be happier with the results. From the very beginning of the process she was incredibly helpful with things like the best location for our desired outcome with our photos. Cynthia gave us great advice and recommendations on our clothes and colors that best complemented all of us together, as well as complementary with the location chosen for our photoshoot. The connection that she very quickly formed with our 3 year old son, too, was perhaps the best and most exciting part of our experience with her. He is shy, especially when meeting new people. Cynthia was able to connect with him, creating a comfortable environment for him that allowed his playful nature to shine in all of the beautiful moments she captured. Cynthia did not rush the session at all, and brought accessories and suggested creative interactions between us that ended up capturing beautiful family memories that we will cherish. And it was such a nice surprise the way she delivered the printed pictures. They were sent in a beautiful box with a pretty bow. To us, this showed us how polished and professional she is, and how much she cared about creating great and lasting memories for us. All in all, this was a great experience for us and we are excited to, and will most certainly work with Cynthia Dawson Photography again! Thank you Cynthia!!
I can't recommend Cynthia enough! She has been there to capture some of the most meaningful moments in my life - maternity photos, newborn session, his two-year photos... each time, she has delivered such beautiful, timeless images that I will treasure forever. Every session feels relaxed and personal. Beyond her talent, Cynthia is a kind, calm, and gentle person and carries that presence throughout her sessions, putting you at ease - which is hard to do when coordinating a family photoshoot with young young children! You will be hard-pressed to find a kinder, more talented photographer in the Toledo area! Cynthia Dawson made capturing moments with my 10-month old *actually* easy, comfortable, and so enjoyable. Her studio is gorgeous—a tranquil space with lovely sets and an expansive color-coordinated closet to take all the stress and guesswork out of what to wear. Cynthia’s warmth and easygoing nature made my baby and I feel at ease. When I received the photos, I marveled through teary eyes at how Cynthia had captured our little girl’s personality so beautifully. I’ll treasure the images forever and would recommend Cynthia Dawson Photography anyone considering a photographer in NW Ohio.
Cynthia photographed our family when our daughter was just 6-9 months old - these were the first professional pictures of our new family and I still adore them to this day! Being a photographer myself, I appreciated the experience we received from Cynthia and the patience she had during our session. She was kind enough to come over during our favorite time of day - breakfast - and capture us in our home which is also very special to us. These photos mean so much and we are so glad that we were able to have Cynthia's calm, kind and caring heart capture our family!
