Lauren, Josh and the team were so helpful right from the outset . They provided a very competitive quote and the quality of work was exceptional. I had regular updates on the progress of the work and everything was thoroughly explained . Nothing was too much trouble and I would have no hesitation in recommending them

D J Mackay were excellent. From the first contact about the job through to job completion, could not fault how they were. Lauren was excellent updating us with the progress on when our job would start. When she phoned to say they were good to go the scaffolders arrived on time and the team from D J Mackay arrived before they had finished putting up the scaffold. The job turned out to be longer than they thought due to the state of the roof (only 1 day longer than planned) but Josh & Lauren kept us updated with what was happening and if there were any additional costs. Lauren, Josh and the wider team were fantastic, considerate, kind & highly professional, would certainly have the team back for any work in the future!

Excellent service from start to finish following a recommendation from a neighbour. Lauren and Josh were both professional throughout and kept us updated on when they were likely to start the work once there was suitable weather. The team worked hard and finished our roof and guttering replacement to a high standard and tidied up at the end of each day. Would highly recommend DJ Mackay & Son to anyone who is looking for a reliable roofing company they can trust.

One of the most professional yet friendly companies I’ve ever had work on my property. They worked so swiftly as a team that the roof was stripped and replaced in a day, with minor finishing off bits done the next day. They cleaned up after themselves very well too. I’d asked them to be mindful of closing the front door as I have cats and they did this every time without fail, even while carrying the old roof material out and bringing everything new in. The quality of their work is excellent. The quality of the materials they use is excellent too. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend DJ Mackay & Son to anyone who is looking for a trustworthy and reliable roofing company. Thanks for doing a great job, Josh, Lauren & the team.

Top notch service when it comes to your roofing needs. The quality and workmanship are fantastic. I had the entire roof replaced including the flat roof and a new Velux installed. Josh and the team were brilliant. Arriving early and working all day with minimal disruption and noise. They were professional, clean and left the site spotless when they finished. With a guarantee for the work also I couldn't recommend them enough. My roof will be sound for many years to come.
