I'm giving it a one star because the food is a rip off! The funnel cakes are hard as a rock and burnt on the bottom, the mozzarella sticks are straight from the microwave and don't taste fresh, the meat on the pizza taste freezer burn. The only decent thing was the soda and the ice cream.
Total chaos. 3 birthday parties all aged 5 or under. Every skater kept falling and was using the skate mates running right in front of you. We have to wait 30 minutes upon arrival because they were having some birthday song dance contest. They keep closing the floor because of the bad behavior and kids not following rules. Can barely understand the DJ, the concrete floor is awful and has a lot of uneven spots. They should have let us know that there were so many parties. This is a safety risk for others as the kids are all over the place. We stopped skating bc we didn’t want to get injured. This places needs better management and a better floor. Prob won’t be back.
We hosted a party for our daughters at dairy afford roller rink today, and it was truly one of the worst experiences we’ve had at a business that claims to be family friendly. What was meant to be a fun and special day quickly turned into a stressful and upsetting ordeal due to the staff’s rude behavior, poor management, and complete lack of customer service. From the beginning, the staff was unwelcoming and rude to multiple guests. One child arrived wearing a comfort boot (not medically required), was given rental skates, and skated safely for about 15 minutes. Suddenly, he was told he could no longer skate due to the boot, despite the clear “Skate at Your Own Risk” signage. When his mother explained the situation and noted the boot was not medically necessary, the manager refused to listen, refused a refund, and offered no accommodation. Instead, she selectively enforced policies while ignoring others. Like the “No Refunds” rule being followed strictly, but the “Skate at Your Own Risk” sign being disregarded. The situation escalated unnecessarily, and security was called to remove guests from our daughter’s party. These were family members (grandparents and father) who were trying to understand the rules and advocate for their children. However, the manager decided to pick and chose what rules she wanted to enforce and simply was difficult. To make matters worse, a parent of a late arriving guest was harshly scolded at the door with “THE PARTY ALREADY STARTED!”This was completely uncalled for and rude!! They walked in and told me how uncomfortable they were for the moment they got there. Another guest tried to use a free skate voucher for their 2-year-old and was told it wasn’t valid. When the mother privately vented to her husband using a mild curse word, which made the manager refuse to let their child skate or even allow me, the host, to purchase a ticket on their behalf. The manager’s behavior throughout the day was unnecessarily aggressive, dismissive, and, frankly, unprofessional. She even stated, “I don’t get paid enough for this,” while continuing to escalate tensions rather than resolving them. Ironically, we were warned not to use foul language on the premises because it’s a “family business,” yet the music played over the speakers included multiple songs with explicit language and sexual content directly using the word s3x Overall, the management was inconsistent, unaccommodating, and on a power trip. What should have been a joyful celebration turned into an uncomfortable and chaotic experience for our children and guests. We will not be returning and strongly recommend others think twice before booking a party or attending this rink.
Arrived on a Sunday shortly after opening. The rink was somewhat busy but not bad. More kids than anything with a couple birthday parties. The floor is good, a few patch spots, but for the most part clean and good to skate on. A floor guard was on duty helping kids when needed. The men's restroom smelled which probably could had been cleaned better. Lockers are available for your belongings for a few bucks. I'm older and would probably only go back for an adult skate session, but do recommend for kids and families.
The atmosphere was awesome. So fun for kids. Good games and funnnnnn.
