I was a little nervous when I first signed up for dance classes, but having Ceech as my teacher made all the difference. He creates such a fun, welcoming environment that makes you actually look forward to every class. He’s incredibly skilled at what he does and breaks everything down in a way that’s easy to follow, no matter your level. If you’re thinking about taking dance seriously, I honestly wouldn’t recommend anyone else but Ceech. He’s the real deal!

I was first introduced to Ceech at a dress rehearsal for a dance show at West Valley College in 2017. He was introduced to me as the Mission College’s hip-hop instructor as well as someone affiliated with The Get Down Studio in San Jose’s Japantown. During this brief exchange I sensed this guy gave off this charismatic energy, like I have never seen before. I have since taken his class at least four times and I have found that Ceech is a phenomenal dance instructor, he is the real deal, passionate, professional and knows his stuff. He breaks down dance steps in a way that even the most basic beginner can understand and build a solid foundation. Emphasizes process over product. He tries to learn all his students' names and learn interesting things about them. He is friendly, welcoming, patient, encouraging and beginner friendly. He greets each individual student by name at the beginning of each class meeting every class meeting. I would totally recommend his class to anyone looking to learn hip-hop or just wanting to discover their creative side.
