Favourite dance studio in Tampa! I have been going for over a year now and love it every time, a special shoutout to Kristen’s Thursday pro cheer class for being my favourite time of the week!! Always super fun, she encourages you and make you feel comfortable and confident!

Kristen Downard is amazing! My daughter absolutely loves her Acro class with Miss Kristen at Dancebox! She’s not only super talented, but also incredibly patient — especially with the younger age groups. She is encouraging, fun, and really knows how to break things down so they can understand and improve. My daughter has learned so much since starting Acro with her. She’s gained confidence, gotten stronger and always comes out of class smiling and proud of what she’s accomplished. You can tell Miss Kristen genuinely cares about her students and wants them to succeed, but she also keeps things fun and positive. We feel so lucky to have found Miss Kristen—she’s truly one of those special teachers who makes a lasting impact!

I love this studio! I hadn’t danced in 6 years and it’s so hard to find good dance studios that offer adult classes! I was so nervous my first class but all the girls in the class and everyone who worked at the studio were so nice and welcoming! I have been taking Kristen’s pro cheer class for over a year now and have learned so much from her! She is a former nfl cheerleader and she always gives amazing tips if you are thinking about trying out for a professional team. The studio is clean and there are a-lot of types of classes offered. They have an easy to use app that you can sign up for classes ahead of time or check day of for openings. Coming to the studio has been such a positive experience for me!

I LOVE the adult classes here. It’s really hard to find any that have real solid dance instruction. My favs are Beg Commercial Jazz on Monday night with Farrin, and Pro Cheer on Thursdays with Kristen. They are both fabulous. Highly recommend.

I take the Pro Cheer Class on Thursdays and it is genuinely the highlight of my week. Not only am I learning so much from Kristen but I’m making great connections and friends in the process. The studio is always clean and the staff is always super friendly. Coming from someone with no dance training growing up, this place has made me feel super welcomed and accepted. Excited to train here for a long while
