Yesterday, 9/20-‘25, I attended Dance Vision’s annual Tour de Dance, a full day (7a-10:30p) of dance competition, demonstration, and fun. Incredible! For the fully platted dinner, all attendees even got to dress in costume celebrating “Dia de los Muertos.” which was thoroughly planned and well done. Congratulations to owners, judges, venue staff, and most of all to the skilled professional dance instructors who teach their students through encouragement, understanding and untiring empathy. Thank you all!
I’ve been taking dance lessons at Dance Vision Studio in Plano, and it’s been a fantastic experience from day one. The atmosphere is welcoming, fun, and motivating—perfect for anyone looking to learn or improve their dancing. Special thanks to my instructors, Nora and Hannah, who have been absolutely amazing! They are not only incredibly talented but also patient, encouraging, and genuinely passionate about teaching. Each class is well-structured, and they make learning feel enjoyable and achievable, even for someone like me who came in with no prior partner dance experience.
Dance Vision Plano is a wonderful place to learn or improve your dance skills! Everything from tango to two-step, you can learn in a welcoming and encouraging environment. The students and instructors have become family over the past year and a half I've been taking lessons here. I highly recommend checking them out!
We started with the intent to just do a few classes as a fun way to learn the basics. Now we’re hooked and can’t imagine life without Dance Vision. We love ALL the amazing pros (coaches), and meeting so many others who are experiencing dance on all levels. It’s so much fun and I highly recommend.
Got a gift certificate for two lessons. The classes were provided as introductions to dance plans. If you want specific dances the packages don’t accommodate it as they are for many dances at introductory level. There are packages that are offered average $100 per week for a couple so plan for $5200 for a year at least if you want to know more than basic steps. Pace of learning is slow. There will be pressure to give high evaluations to the instructor each lesson after what is a whirlwind of exposure with breadth of dances than depth the goal because well….depth requires another sequential package. Since this isn’t explained when you visit, hope this is helpful to others.
