Ashley Thrasher
I referred one of my clients and best friends to this salon after I moved out of state because I had heard some good things about it. She had been going to the same stylist multiple times going lighter for a fun blue that she was going to do. The stylist knew the entire time that this was her end goal. She had been 4 or 5 times for lightening appointments. Which in my opinion is extremely excessive, seeing as I’ve lifted her hair past level 10 in only 2 sessions in the past. However, she was still happy with the services. Fast forward to her last appointment, the one where they should be doing the blue. Right off the bat the stylist cops an attitude with her saying that she’ll have to reschedule her next client now. SO unprofessional to speak to a client like that, especially one that has been coming loyally to you the last few months. Not only that, but she had informed the stylist on her last appointment what they would be doing. It seems like the stylist (who made sure to tell her multiple times that she has over 10+ years of experience) rushed through the service as fast as she could and straight up did not try at all. Honestly as another professional I have no idea what she was thinking. It seems like she tried to use a toner for the color when it should have been done with a semi permanent. After her first wash she looked like she had just gone swimming in chlorine. The products made her hair heavy and look greasy, which I’ve seen others say as well in the reviews. The first picture is her inspiration, the second picture is the absolute atrocity the stylist had her leave with, and the last picture is her results after I advised her on what to do and which products to use. How is it that a client with literally ZERO at home experience is able to do a better job than a “professional” with 10+ years? The way the staff treated her after the fact was also terrible. The stylist made her feel uncomfortable and like a burden last time she went so she was not comfortable going back and that’s completely understandable. When you mess up this bad, you should automatically offer a refund. Because of this experience not only will she not be back, but I will no longer be referring this salon to old clients or anyone for that matter.
