Started learning Spanish from scratch here and have nothing but great things to say about Mónica and her school. It's a friendly environment with small groups so you can learn at your own pace, and Mónica, being a native speaker, provides insight into regional culture and language differences. Highly recommend.

I couldn't be more pleased with my learning in the beginning Spanish class at the Davis Language Academy. I was initially concerned that I would feel frustrated in not understanding class discussions but Monica is excellent in bringing learners along at their own pace. I never feel intimidated in making mistakes or taking longer to form my thoughts into spoken language. The classes are fun and I enjoy the other students who are at about the same level that I am--some even a little ahead of me which is a nice incentive to keep learning. The overall feeling in the class is relaxed while always feeling challenged. I highly recommend Davis Language Academy to any beginner who wants to learn vocabulary and grammar in reading and speaking Spanish. Monica is the best!

My husband and I have been taking ASL classes here for close to a year now. I’m so thankful to have a small group, affordable opportunity to learn another language in Davis. Our teacher, Jasmine, is wonderful. She works with a variety of learning levels and has created a community feeling in class. Much love and appreciation to DLA, Monica, and Jasmine!

I’ve been taking Intermediate French with Lin at Davis Language Academy. Lin is a great instructor and the classes are fun and inspiring. My French has really improved in this small, comfortable classroom environment. I can’t say enough good things about Mónica, Lin and the Academy.

Davis Language Academy is wonderful for both children and adults. I started adult Spanish classes a few months ago and while I'm often intimidated when speaking Spanish, Monica makes everything comfortable and fun. I've learned so much already! I loved it so much I signed my kids up for the preschool class and they are loving it! Its fun and engaging. They are picking up lots of new words and learning to be comfortable around different languages. Highly recommend the Davis Language Academy.
