I used this driving school about two years ago and unfortunately had a bad experience. My instructor was amazing during my first two lessons, but I ran into problems when my permit expired and I needed to renew it. I reached out three days in advance (by email, phone, and text) to let the school know I wouldn’t be able to attend my next two sessions. Despite this, my instructor was never told and drove a long distance unnecessarily. When I later tried to reschedule, I never heard back. After following up several times, I was blamed for “missing” my lessons—even though I had notified them ahead of time. I asked about a partial refund (I was 16 at the time and had paid $500 from my first job), but they said they don’t give refunds. On top of that, the contact email was listed under a completely different business name, which felt unprofessional. Overall, I would advise others to be cautious when choosing this school. My instructor himself was great, but the management and communication were extremely poor.

Michelle, Allan and Freddy were excellent instructors and made me feel so much better about my lifelong driving anxiety. I highly recommend Deer Valley Driving School for safe, effective and compassionate driving instruction for any new or nervous drivers. It really changed my life! Thank you so much!!

We had a fantastic experience with Deer Valley Driving School — I can't recommend them highly enough! From day one, the instructors were incredibly friendly, professional, and patient, instantly putting my 16-year-old son at ease. Their calm demeanor and encouraging attitude made learning to drive a positive experience, and my son looked forward to each lesson. One of the things I appreciated most as a parent was how safe and secure my son felt behind the wheel at all times. The instructors were clearly experienced and prepared him for a wide range of driving situations. Whether it was navigating heavy traffic in downtown Phoenix, merging on the freeway, or driving at night, the school made sure he was ready for real-world conditions. Scheduling was a breeze — time slots were flexible and easy to book, which made fitting lessons into our busy schedule completely stress-free. After every session, the instructor provided thoughtful and detailed feedback, letting us know exactly how our son was progressing and where he could improve. That open communication made a big difference and gave us real confidence in the process. Today, my son is a confident and responsible driver, and I credit much of that to the top-notch instruction he received at Deer Valley Driving School. If you're looking for a driving school that prioritizes safety, skill-building, and a supportive learning environment, this is the place to go!

Great experience getting my license. Allan is a very knowledgable and patient instructor, always giving solid advice on the best practices for safe driving, pinpointing mistakes and sharing his own tips that make execution of maneuvers like reverse / parallel parking much easier. His humour and stories also made the sessions fun and enjoyable. Thanks to his guidance, in just 4 lessons I was able to complete the road test with confidence and would highly recommend him and this company for anyone looking to get their license!

Instructors are personable and professional. We have had 2 teenagers use this driving school. Both enjoyed the driving classes and loved their instructors. My older son was NOT excited about drivers' education, but ended up loving it. Highly recommend Deer Valley Driving School!
