Donovan and the team was spectacular for our Dinner Event. The food was excellent. Enjoyed the 8oz Filet Mignon. Outstanding evening.
Del Frisco’s is known as an upscale steakhouse with elegance and class, which is exactly why my wife and I chose it to celebrate our anniversary. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. While the food was good, it wasn’t memorable. Compared to Nick & Sam’s, Perry’s Steakhouse, and Dakota’s, the steaks here simply didn’t measure up in flavor or overall savoring. The service was where the evening really missed the mark. Our server cleared away our appetizer plates and silverware but never replaced my wife’s utensils. When our entrées arrived, she had to sit and wait for silverware—thankfully, I tend to say a long blessing before meals. To make matters worse, the server stepped on my size 14 Alexander McQueens (a $600 pair of shoes) several times throughout the night. My wife and I still did our best to enjoy our anniversary, but for a $317 bill plus a $50 tip, the experience was disappointing. This was not the level of service or attention we expected from a restaurant of this caliber. Maybe I’ll give it another try in six months, but this visit was a letdown.
Valet parking was super convenient. The restaurant was gorgeous with Christmas decor everywhere. Upstairs they have an outdoor patio bar, looking over the city. Our server, Chris, was amazing!! Super personable. Knew the menu inside and out. Took great care of our table without being overly intrusive. Highly recommend you ask for him specifically; we will when we come back. The seating is comfortable and tables are spaced so you can have a quiet conversation. Our dinner was fabulous. We ordered the filet and sea bass, which were cooked perfectly. The sides are generous and definitely shareable. The starting bread is served warm with honey butter and it's so yummy. They also had a musician playing piano in the bar. Prices were commiserate to the quality of food and experience. We had an after dinner drink at the bar and Mike and Jose were friendly and offered us great ideas for things to do since we are out of town. The manager, Lance, stopped to check in on us and was also super friendly and hospitable!! We will definitely be back and highly recommend. Note.. reservations are recommended!!
Check-in was prompt and professional, with the Wine Room ready upon arrival. The evening flowed with a relaxed, tapas-style variety—small plates and shared bites that kept conversation light and engaging. It was the perfect balance of casual business and refined atmosphere. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and the pacing allowed for genuine connection and discussion. An excellent choice for small business gatherings or executive dinners where you want sophistication without stiffness.
We had an incredible experience at Del Frisco’s Dallas! The food was absolutely delicious, but what really stood out was the service. Brian took such great care of us, and Ashton was phenomenal when it came to the wine — so knowledgeable, patient, and spot-on in finding us the perfect bottle to pair with our meal. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made the night unforgettable. Highly recommend asking for Brian and Ashton if you want top-notch service to go with an already amazing menu!
