Absolutely loved this place! The food was incredible, the service was truly top tier, and the ambiance was beautiful. Everything exceeded expectations from start to finish. Can’t wait to come back and highly recommend!
Stopped by Del Frisco’s on Saturday for a birthday dinner. The ambiance was great—low, intimate vibes. We were seated on the second floor with a beautiful view of the Conrad and the CityCenter tree, which set the tone nicely. Unfortunately, the service and food fell far short of expectations. We started with a round of drinks, which ended with the server spilling someone else’s drink down the back of my outfit and onto the floor. There was no apology, no cleanup, and no replacement—he simply looked back and walked away. I ordered a medium-rare steak and was served what can only be described as a hockey puck: dry, overcooked, and completely unseasoned. It didn’t melt in my mouth at all. When I notified the server, I was told the kitchen was closing. My friend attempted to order food as well and was met with the same response, so she opted for another drink instead—a lemon drop. The drink never arrived, yet it appeared on the bill. When we pointed this out, the waiter giggled and removed the billfold. The moral of the story: an apology or simple acknowledgment of poor service goes a long way, especially at a restaurant where there are certain expectations for service and quality. While my friend still enjoyed celebrating her birthday, it’s the small details that truly matter. Isiah later called to follow up and worked to resolve the situation, which I genuinely appreciate. Thank you for the follow-up—it did not go unnoticed
Our evening out for dinner was fantastic. The ambiance was perfect with a low hum of patrons without any unruly and unnecessary noise. The precisely aimed accent lights gave each table enough glow to admire the company and food. The waiters and support staff were quietly and effortlessly efficient. Our evening began with freshly baked butter bread, followed by an exquisite lobster bisque for me and a charred octopus with chorizo for my wife, both made to perfection. Our main course was a prime ribeye and prime strip, just as we ordered and delicious as were our broccolini and whipped potato sides. Our decadent desserts consisted of chocolate mousse cake and a tiramisu crème brûlée. We chased all this down with our favorite Albariño wine which was chilled with precision. We cannot say enough about our server Markus and his support Herberth, who ensured everything was to our satisfaction. All our questions regarding the menu were answered with confidence and without hesitation.
We went during restaurant week and decided to do the pre fixe menu with included an appetizer, entree, and dessert for $65. For our appetizers, I got the wagyu meatballs and my girlfriend got the tuna sashimi. My meatballs were very tender and flavorful. Her appetizer was presented very nicely and she said she really liked it. For drinks, we got diet cokes, which came by the bottle. Then we also got mocktails. I got the watermelon mint cooler and she got the spicy margarita. They were both very good. Mine was the right sweetness level and very refreshing. Then, for entrees, I got a 12oz filet, which was a $10 up charge. My girlfriend got the jumbo crab cakes. My steak was cooked to the temperature I requested and it was super tender and had an amazing flavor. It had a nice crust and the used good seasoning on it as well. My girlfriend really liked her crab cakes and I tried them and thought they were amazing. We also got creamed corn which was fantastic. This was not part of the pre fix menu. It had the perfect amount of cream, a good among but not overly soupy. It had an amazing flavor. It was a great size for the price. For dessert, we got the butter cake and strawberry cheesecake which were included with our pre fixe menu. Then we also got the orange creamsicle crème brûlée. All the desserts were very good. The butter take has a very crunchy exterior. The crème brûlée was thick and smooth. Other things worth noting: service was very good. Our server Dani was very friendly and professional. The ambiance of the building is very upscale and fancy. It was our anniversary and they had many of the employees hand write their signature on a card for us, which really showed the level of detail of this place. Overall, this was one of the best restaurants I’ve been to. My girlfriend and I had an amazing experience. I strongly recommend this place if you’re anywhere in dc or near dc.
Solid date night spot - it’s expensive but food was tasty! I’ve never had a lobster tail that big in my life - it was a little on the tough side but it was tasty the table side carving was an experience! The service was a little slow, but they did take care of us! They gave us a dessert on the house for our celebration! My only complaints were that there were a lot of mosquitoes inside…We got bit multiple times at the table. Also, they were playing Little League on the TVs, which was a strange vibe for a fancy date night restaurant, IMO… other than that, great experience! I’d go back!
