A party of 4, as expected, the service was wonderful. We had a main waiter and 2 additional assistant waiters. All 3 were professional, welcoming and funny at times. We ordered the waygu meatballs as an appetizer, they were ok, nothing special, I wouldn't order them again. The 4 main meals we ordered were, a 12 oz filet mignon, medium, an 8 oz filet mignon medium, garlic butter, with 8 oz lobster tail, 24 oz prime porterhouse, medium, and a 16 oz prime ribeye, medium rare with an 8 oz lobster tail. The sides we ordered were 1 baked potato, 1 Ceasars salad and 1 creamed spinach. The lobster was tender and sweet, the creamed spinach had bacon in it so I wasn't a fan but the rest of the table really enjoyed it. The blood orange spritz is delicious. Unfortunately, my steak was over cooked, they replaced it quickly but then it was under cooked. I didn't bother to say anything because I was full from the lobster so I figured it would be fine when I reheated at home. We ordered the beignets for dessert, they came with 3 sauces, strawberry, white chocolate & salted caramel. Sadly, they tasted like munchkins from Dunkin Donuts. It was my friends fathers birthday and they brought him a piece strawberry cheese cake to celebrate, which he enjoyed very much. Overall, we had a nice dinner. In total, dinner for 4 was just under $700.
I was excited to hear that Del Frisco‘s was located on international Drive. I assumed it was no longer available in the Orlando area after the location off Lee Road closed. I was very excited to hear that there was still a restaurant in Orlando and cannot wait to go. Everything was absolutely delicious just like I had remembered. The steak was very delicious. It had a wonderful Gorgonzola topping. The lobster bisque soup was wonderful!!! There was a lot of lobster meat in the soup as well. The port wine was perfect in pairing with the steak. Next time I would love to try the port flight, which has the 10, 20, 30, 40 year ports. The inside was very nicely decorated for a fine dining restaurant. The staff was very kind and was very helpful. We had a wonderful time! thank you.
Great food and service. Not my first visit, but first time reviewing Del Frisco’s in Orlando. The calamari is always delicious and one of my favorites. The Surf & Turf Filet Trio is such a great entree, I highly recommend it. The Steak is tasty and seasoned well and so is the large shrimp and crab portion served on top of each steak (see picture). The heightened level of service starts with valet staff and continues with the hosts, food runners, and servers. For dessert, the butter cake was great.
I was told that Del Frisco’s on I-Drive has a really good Butter Cake, and as always, I am willing to try a restaurant based on a particular item. For appetizers, we started with the Wagyu Meatballs which were perfectly seasoned with a hint of spicyness. Our entrées were equally impressive: the Salmon was beautifully cooked with a crisp exterior and buttery interior. Although I prefer to have my Salmon served with the skin taken off, this was still very good. Our other entree was the Seabass paired with Crab Rice. Let me just say that the Crab Rice stole the show for the evening. If you decide to dine here, the Crab Rice is a MUST have. For dessert, the Butter Cake was as advertised.....very well presented and worth every bite. Overall, Del Frisco's delivered a great dining experience that blended a very upscale ambiance with the food having memorable flavors with a special notation for the Crab Rice. Also, I would suggest arriving a little before the average dinner time so that you can find parking.
The atmosphere was great, service amazing, and the food was excellent. The seafood tower was large and fresh. The tomatoes salad, ceaser salad and wedges were large and could have been their own serving. The lamb was tasty and a worthy contender for a meal. The 45 day aged meat was tender, but if you aren't used to it, the loss of juices can be different. All of the meat and sauces were tender and flavorful. We even found room for desert, the creme brulee was an excellent flavor of orange cycle. Recomend all items, you won't be disappointed.
