I frequently go for happy hour with my family and recently I have included my friends. The happy hour prices, drinks, and food are fantastic. Jonathon and Tyler are the best bartenders ever and their service is unmatched. I have had two encounters now with the manager that have been offensive to my family and friends. The first time, we were coming for happy hour and we were a group of six; there was not enough seating around the bar. In the past, with my coworkers, we sat at a table adjacent to the bar. There was not a reserved sign on that table so I asked if we could sit there. My friend and myself witnessed the manger talking with the bar staff and she was not happy to say the least. They were apologetic and said it was reserved. Ok, I then asked if there were other tables we could be seated at, and I was told no. So I told the rest of ny party in route, let’s go somewhere else. When my daughter arrived, she walked up to the hostess and said we’re here party of six can we be seated and they seated us. I observed the manager shortly after obviously mad talking to our waitress, and the waitress uncomfortably came and said to us you can’t do happy hour on the floor unless you order the meal. Not one person in our party had an issue with being able to pay for the meal. My friend and myself did not want the meal because we were not hungry, but the other four in our party were happy to do it. I was confused by the whole experience because if that would’ve been explained to us upfront, no offense would have been taken; but at that point it appeared that there was an assumption made that we were just there to be cheap and could not pay for a whole meal and she was upset that we sat at a table. Yesterday, I went with my two other friends for happy hour. We got our drinks and my friend ordered two pizzas to go. I again observed a conversation between the staff and manager where she said watch reaction when you tell her it will be full price and see what happens. I said nothing to my friend and when the bartender uncomfortably had to tell her it will be full price cause you’re taking it to go she said OK I’ll take two. I’ll still take my order. I say all of that to say, The manager would save a lot of time and energy if she would communicate with the guests herself and not put her staff who do a great job in uncomfortable positions. It gives the impression that certain people are not welcome there., no one that I associate with whatever not afford to be able to pay their bill or run out on a bill or order something that they could not afford to begin with, and it is offensive to me that she would assume that to be so
I LOVED my experience here. I had the most amazing time and dinner! First, the pizza was phenomenal. I loved trying so many amazing flavors of pizza. There was not one miss. They were all delicious. I especially liked the honey sopressata, the garlic picanha, one, and the dessert banana flambé!! But they were all great! The lobster bisque was also WONDERFUL. We did not expect it at all, but we all agreed it was some of our favorite lobster bisque we’d ever had. The servers were all so kind, friendly, and helpful! It ran so smoothly, and their willingness to help and bring requests when possible! They were all very lovely and efficient. The restaurant is also very beautiful and has a cozy, yet open and spacious. We had a lovely night!!
Tyler the bartender is a great guy, the service was was good. Very ice atmosphere. I liked the vibe. The meatballs were nice, salad is very basic and I thought the lobster bisque was a bit salty and I like salt. The pizzas come in small slices which is great because there is a large selection. Some were better than others but I still prefer the more traditional pizza. All are very thin. Would have been nice to see a deep dish or a bit different crust. Waited for over half an hour for the dessert pizza and only 2 different were offered to me but after 1 1/2 hours of being there I was tired of waiting. It's a good place for something different but not special enough for me to return. A Brazilian place but not 1 Brazilian beer for such a large bar.
I am a pizza connoisseur, and when I learned that there was a Latin American based pizza chain with a concept similar to that of Brazilian steakhouse, and with unique flavors like chicken Tikka Marsala I knew I had to check it out. The interior was very clean and inviting. It's an exciting atmosphere as you watch servers walk around with fresh pizzas and dropping by each table to see if there's interest. I was a fan of the concept, and similar to a Brazilian steakhouse, while it's exciting, it's still slightly quantity over quality. That being said, I think the flavors worked well together, and I was happy with all the offerings. Even the dessert pizzas had several offerings. Unfortunately, depending on where you're sitting you might have to wait for the fresh pizza to make it to you, and you will pray that there's any left by that point. The drinks and complimentary appetizers were delicious, but make sure you don't fill up on that. I love the concept, and I would recommend the experience!
