Robin is an absolutely outstanding dog trainer and deserves more than 5 stars. From our very first phone consultation, her dedication and passion for her work was obvious, and the amount of practical wisdom she shared in that short time was incredible. We then had a home visit, which completely transformed how we understood our dog’s behaviour and the reasons behind each training technique. Robin explained everything clearly and gave us step by step guidance that felt easy to follow and apply. Her knowledge has not only helped with our current dog, but will also guide us with any future dogs thanks to the wealth of written resources and documents she provided. On top of that, Robin checks in weekly, so there is always an opportunity to ask questions and get support with anything new that comes up.

Robin has been incredibly helpful in better understanding and managing our cavoodle's reactivity that developed after a few traumatic events. Robin is super passionate and provides lots of information, backing this up with frequent check-ins and ongoing support. We have appreciated how dedicated she is, going above and beyond including sending through videos and training tools she thinks would be specifically useful for our girl. As with humans or animals, change takes time, patience and consistency and Robin was clear about this from the start. We have valued her honesty and straightforward approach. Our girl is not "cured" but she is certainly improved from when we first started working with Robin, and we know that with continued training at home and attending the group sessions that we will, in time, have our settled pup back again. I can't thank Robin enough and highly recommend her to anyone really wanting to make positive changes with their dog's unhelpful behaviours or reactivity.

I adopted a 3-year-old corgi who struggled with the transition from a quiet home to a busy CBD apartment. She was extremely noise-sensitive and reactive to pretty much everything — refusing to leave the apartment due to sounds like vending machines, people and doors closing - walks became a nightmare. Grooming, car rides, and lead pulling were also major challenges for us. I reached out to Robin in total distress, and from our first contact, she was incredible. The 6-hour in-home consult exceeded expectations, combining theory and practical training for both me and my dog. Robin’s positive reinforcement approach was exactly what I was looking for. Robin also helped me find the right equipment for my dog to support the activities we need to do daily (like lead/harness, grooming brushes, enrichment toys and steps to get in/out of car). Within three days of applying Robin's techniques, my corgi and I were calmly leaving the apartment (without hardly any treats or lengthy processes needed), getting into the car, and enjoying short peaceful walks. I’ve learned how to understand and support my dog, and she now trusts me more and shows greater confidence even in stressful environments. We still have a lot of work to do and with the comprehensive plan Robin provided us, I am confident that we can overcome any challenge now and into the future. Robin is the real deal — compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly effective. I’m so grateful I made that call. Edit: reactivity classes! As part of our consult fee we also got to attend a group session with Robin and other clients. I was unsure how my dog would be since she is both people & dog reactive and also nervous in new environments. The session proved invaluable for me and refining my ability to execute skills Robin taught us in consult in a real world controlled safe set up. Definitely recommend as it’s hard to set up safe sessions in the real world with other reactive dogs or triggers to practice training. Plus I got more coaching & corrections to help me help my dog better !! Practice makes a habit so best make it right!

Fantastic service. Robin was so sweet and gentle with my dogs. Plenty of pre training literature is provided along with a customised training program. My super anxious dog was best friends with Robin by the time the training session was over. I loved that she was NOT into punishment or shouting. No jerking of lead either. All done through positive reinforcement. Totally recommend. Thank you Robin.

Robin is an excellent trainer, who provides way more than your money’s worth! We have 2 new rescue dogs, one who can show aggression when scared, and one who is highly anxious. They were both showing signs of separation anxiety, plus excessive barking and over-excitability, so we called Robin in. She spent about 5-6 hours with us, showing us how to train our dogs, giving us tips and tricks, and explaining the reasoning behind it. On top of that, she provided us copious notes and guides, a free session in her reactivity class (which I also recommend), and she regularly checks in to see how we are going and to answer any questions we have. The improvement in both our dogs has been a lifesaver for us, and it’s so good to see our dogs learning how to be calm and confident.
