Going to the DMI is the highlight of my week every week. My teachers have been amazing and it’s reignited my passion for music! If you’re hesitating getting started on lessons, give them a call and try it out!
I have had the most wonderful experience working with Rachel Grindle for voice lessons this year. Rachel is patient, friendly, and extremely kind. I was a complete beginner and she made me feel so comfortable to sing in front of a stranger for the first time. I would highly recommend Rachel and DMI for any one looking to get music lessons. She even did her best to work around my tight schedule for reschedules as work needed. They are very kind and responsive at DMI!
Several lessons cancelled without notice then billed for them was sketchy at best. Lots of choices when it comes to your music needs, do yourself a favor and choose another one.
Rich Rychel is one amazing teacher. Last September I started lessons with him as a beginner on the drums, you can see the first time behind the kit on his website photos and I have taken every chance I get to be behind the drums. While the passion has been the re Rich helped bring it out, helping it take form for a life of enjoyment from this instrument! Can't give this place enough stars, everyone I've ever talked to in the lobby says DMI is the place to be!
I found Denver Music Institute through a google search on the internet and what a find! My granddaughter has been taking drum lessons for nearly 3 years (she is 10). What a great place. Convenient with accessible parking. Comfortable learning environment, flexible hours for instructions, reasonable lesson prices, and a very qualified instructor. My granddaughter has grown musically in leaps and bounds since she has started lessons. I believe this is due to the skilled instructor she has. She has learned all facets of playing her instrument. When she plays with others at jams (usually with adults) they are amazed at how much she knows. She always gets asked if she can read music and she gives the adults a look like, "of course silly!". Her relationship with her instructor is very comfortable and it's something she looks forward to each week. I have had the opportunity to sit in the waiting room and listen to other students while they take lessons in many different musical areas. Everything from string instruments, to keys, to vocals, and, as I mentioned for my granddaughter, drums/percussion. Great place! I highly recommend it!
