Have been regulars here (and Pudsey) with my three kids for the last two years. It is genuinely the most friendly, welcoming environment, regardless of who you are and your climbing ability. The staff are all fantastic, the route setting is brilliant, and the facilities are top notch. Cannot recommend enough.
I recently took my 3-year-old to a toddler climbing session at this amazing climbing depot, and wow what a game-changer! We’ve tried a couple of other places before, but nothing compares to this one. The entire team is absolutely magical; they’re like a bunch of enthusiastic fairies sprinkled with endless patience and fun energy. From the moment we walked in, everyone was smiling, engaging with the kids on their level, and making the whole environment feel safe, exciting, and utterly welcoming. But let me rave about the star of the show: the trainer, Elliot. He’s an absolute legend with toddlers! Elliot has this incredible knack for turning climbing into pure playtime magic. He spotted my little one with such gentle expertise, cheering them on with personalized encouragement that had my kid giggling and reaching for the next hold without a hint of fear. His instructions were clear, fun, and tailored perfectly for tiny adventurers think silly sound effects, high-fives, and turning “falls” into bouncy landings on the mats. Elliot wasn’t just supervising; he was building confidence, one colorful grip at a time. I’ve never seen a trainer so intuitively in tune with preschoolers’ wobbly energy and short attention spans. A great soul. Unlike the other climbing depots we’ve visited (which felt more like adult gyms with a kiddie corner tacked on stiff, overcrowded, and a bit intimidating, passive attitude), this place is a paradise. The setup is thoughtfully designed with soft, vibrant walls, low routes, and plenty of space to explore without chaos. The team’s vibe is what seals the deal: supportive, creative, and genuinely joyful. No rushed sessions or one-size-fits-all approaches here just pure, magical fun that left my child demanding to come back. If you’re hesitant about introducing your toddler to climbing, skip the mediocre spots and head straight here. Elliot and the team made it an unforgettable bonding experience. 5 stars - Highly recommend! 🧗♀️✨
Great climbing place but they were really unhelpful when I injured my shoulder and asked if I could refund my pass. I won't be able to climb again due to a shpulder injury and I had just paid for a ten pass "punch card". I'd used it twice (it was ten passes) and when i wrote to them they refused to refund the remaining balance. Id tried to go climbing after my injury and actually dislocated my arm and fell off the wall. My doctors had advised it would be dangerous to myself and others to continue climbing. I understand that the pass is usually non-refundable but I just thought it was really crappy that they refused to make an exception. £80 down the drain.
This place has got great facilities. Gym is perfect, great coffee, selection of books, discounted shoes if you're a member, wonderful staff. The wall is big and often changed however the setup is poor quality. Pudsey Depot is superior.
This was a fantastic venue for climbing, where the staff checked me and my friend in promptly at the reception! Codes show how challenging holes generally are, I enjoyed a refreshing cheap coke and staff were approachable. The walls are very exciting, ranging in the shapes and holes being vertical or diagonal with the ability to easily challenge yourselves!
