We could not be happier with our experience with Derk’s Works. From the very beginning he was professional, kind, knowledgeable and incredibly easy to work with, which made the stressful process of finding a photographer so effortless. On our wedding day, Benjamin went above and beyond in every way. He captured every special moment so beautifully from the big, emotional moments to the small, meaningful details we didn’t even realize were happening. His attention to detail and ability to make everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera truly made a difference. He shared meaningful anecdotes throughout the day that made the day even more special and unforgettable. Our guests along with bridal party could not stop commenting on how amazing and fun he was all day long. When we received our photos we were absolutely blown away. Each image was stunning, timeless, and full of emotion. Looking through them we got to see all the things we missed during the day along with all our special moments together. We have received endless compliments from family and friends on how gorgeous the photos are. Just say yes. If you are considering Derks Works, just book it and while you’re at it, book the Fauxtobooth as well. You will not regret it. From the moment we met Jennifer and Benjamin, we knew they were the best pick from their radiating love and passion for their work, but I cannot even explain to you how right we were. Jennifer was our photographer for our wedding day and she was the true MVP. You spend so much of your wedding day with your photographer and Jennifer was the calming force we needed. In the chaos of the day, she not only was a ray of positivity, but she was so quick to jump in and problem solve when others didn’t - going above and beyond what you would expect. I cannot thank her enough. And her work!!! She took my vision and truly made it come to life. I did not have to worry about a thing and she captured everything we wanted and more. And the Fauxtobooth!! Genuinely was such a highlight of my guests’ experience, my friend who got married the week after literally tried to change her setup last minute to mimic the magic that is the Fauxtobooth. Taylor was equally as fabulous as Jennifer. He was SO fun and his energy made our guests feel comfortable to let loose. AND THE PHOTOS!!! They turned out SO good and there was no greater joy than seeing them two days after our big day and reliving all of the love, fun and joy shared by our closest friends and family. Pro tip - place the Fauxtobooth close to dancing - the fluidity was so fun to go from dancing on the dancefloor to dancing in the Fauxtobooth. To wrap up, say yes. It was worth every penny & more.
We used Derkworks' Fauxtobooth for our wedding, and it was such a huge hit! We were specifically looking for a company that could provide an open-air photo booth with an actual photographer, and they met and exceeded our needs! The quality of the photos were amazing, the photographer was so sweet and fun, and we received our photos back quickly! All of our guests kept talking about how the Fauxtobooth was better than any photo booth they've used at an event! If you're looking for a "photo booth" for your wedding or event with amazing photos you'll actually want to frame - you need to book them!
