About

Different View is a Plymouth-based drone videography and visual production company working with businesses and organisations across the South West and UK. We specialise in professional drone filming, FPV drone videography and aerial video production for maritime, industrial, commercial and complex environments. Our drone videography services are designed for projects where scale, movement, location and real-world activity need to be shown clearly. We work across a wide range of environments, including vessels, ports, shipyards, industrial sites, events and commercial locations, producing cinematic aerial footage for websites, social media, PR, presentations and wider marketing campaigns. A key part of the Different View service is FPV drone filming. FPV allows us to capture immersive, movement-led footage that takes viewers through spaces, around subjects and closer to the action. This makes it particularly effective for marine flythroughs, factories, venues, events and specialist environments where standard aerial filming may not provide the same sense of flow or perspective. Marine and maritime production is another core area of expertise. Different View works with maritime businesses, ports, marine contractors and organisations operating in coastal and offshore environments. Filming in these settings requires careful planning, technical knowledge and an understanding of changing conditions, restricted areas and active operations. Our experience allows us to approach these projects safely while still capturing strong, commercially useful footage. Alongside drone filming, we provide ground video, photography, editing, CGI and motion graphics. This gives clients the option to combine aerial and ground-level content within one production, creating a more complete set of assets for marketing, communications and project documentation.
