It’s an extremely busy place. I visited because a nail punctured my tire. Since it was a rental car, the rental company told me I could get it replaced, so I mentioned that here as well. They initially said they would replace the tire, but instead they just plugged it and sent me off. I would’ve understood either way, but they didn’t really need to tell me they’d replace it in the first place… Still, everything turned out fine, and they took care of it quickly. Thank you.

I made an appointment to get my tires balanced and rotated and to also get an alignment. I came in a few minutes late for my alignment, and they had no idea what I needed done. Once I went through the whole process again, they ended up condemning two of my tires. They said one had a nail in it. They refused to put my spare on for me. This was all whatever, but then they completely forgot to do the alignment. I had to change plans and ended up spending 5 hours on this ordeal. They haven't refunded me or anything, and you could tell the workers disliked dealing with any type of situation that arise. People shouldn't have to pay full price when a shop doesn't do what you asked them to do and ends up having to bring you back in to wait more hours. Safe to say, I will be taking my business elsewhere and recommending others to do the same. Update: A younger worker named Chris, the taller skinny one (to ensure we are talking about the right guy) helped me while I was waiting and he was very helpful and affirming of the situation. He brought my review up a star.

I ordered my tires and set an appointment through their website, showed up at the 82nd & University store a little early, and was in and out with four new tires in about an hour. This store proves that great customer service still exists. GREAT team here. I highly recommend them if you’re in Lubbock.

Both Chris’ helped me (Chris) out great. Had a good laugh about having the same name. So definitely friendly customer service! Had my tire fixed quicker than estimated. Ill be using this location from now on since I moved to the area.

I hate to say this, but the whole company has gone downhill; this store is no exception. When I had my tires rotated, they tried to upsell me. They told me that I needed new wipers. I thought that was odd, as I just bought the vehicle brand new three months prior. I did not buy them. This time, I took my car to the dealership to have the tires rotated and asked them to inspect the wipers. Guess what? They told me they were like brand new and didn’t need replacing. What dishonesty and a lack of integrity from this store. Pitiful. On top of this, I had to go back because they forgot to put the parts back on for my rear wiper, and they never replaced my tire stem caps, which were made of nice metal. I will never use Discount Tire anywhere again. I’m at a point in my life where I'm willing to pay higher prices for better service and to deal with people who are honest and have integrity.
