Visited for Aftershock 2025 Discovery Park is an excellent venue for such, with the only real flaw a lack of easy entry/exit to the venue when opening and closing. Great layout with plenty of space to roam, plenty of shade and excellent security staffing.
Aftershock at Discovery Park is phenomenal! Always a great time. Plenty of shade, picnic area to sit, layout is great, and Music on point!
Had an amazing time at Aftershock! 🤘🏼 The energy was unreal, the lineup was stacked, and the crowd vibes were nothing but good. What really stood out though was how clean and well-organized the venue was — seriously impressive for a festival this big. The staff and security were super friendly and helpful all weekend, which made everything run so smoothly. Food and drink lines moved fast, bathrooms were kept surprisingly clean, and the overall setup made it easy to get around. Already counting down to next year — Discovery Park & Aftershock definitely know how to do it right! 🔥🎶
I’ve been going to Aftershock every year since 2017, and it’s always one of the highlights of my year. People travel from all over the world to Sacramento for this festival, and it’s easy to see why. The 2025 lineup was stacked — Blink-182, Deftones, KoЯn, and Bring Me the Horizon all put on amazing shows. The venue at Discovery Park is mostly dirt and dead grass, which isn’t ideal, but this year’s weather made up for it. Instead of the usual 90–100 degree heat, it stayed in the mid-70s, which was a huge relief. The crowd is always a mix — you meet some really awesome people, but there are also a few who get upset easily when things don’t go their way. Still, the overall vibe and energy of the festival makes it worth it every year. Aftershock 2025 was another great experience, and I’ll definitely be back next year.
Discovery Park is a massive area with bike trails, picnic spots, and plenty of shade, which made it really family-friendly. We brought our little one and had no problem finding space to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The park is shared by lots of different people, including some unhoused neighbors, but everyone was just enjoying the space peacefully. Overall, it’s a welcoming spot to bike, picnic, or spend time outside with family.
