I can't say enough good things about Rebekah. Unfortunately, I didn't have much choice when I selected her as my attorney, but I have been grateful every day since then that I got so lucky. Here are just a few of my reasons: Competence: First of all, Rebekah is an excellent attorney and litigator, knowledgeable and prepared. I always knew I was in good hands with her expertise and guidance. Her experience and skills also made for more efficient counsel and communications, not only with myself but also with her peers. She is well-respected by her peers and the industry community, which created goodwill and opened doors to a smoother process. Empathy: Family Law is a legal specialty dealing with very emotional topics. Rebekah combines her professional experience with tremendous emotional attunement and a positive attitude that makes the journey more palatable. Flexibility and Efficiency: A benefit of not being in a big firm, Rebekah used judicious flexibility to work with me and my budget. I never wondered if I was getting gouged, and I knew precisely what she was doing in the time I was billed. This provided me financial and emotional relief, especially during an emotional and uncertain time. Values: She not only fought for my interests, but also my values. I had no desire to litigate, and she worked with me in line with my values, providing thoughtful guidance along the way. She advised me on pros and cons of my desire to take the high road. When others played dirty, we fought fairly and firmly, and I knew in the heat of the moment, she was advocating for me and my values. I am grateful to have her in my corner.

I cannot recommend Rebekah Sullivan enough. She represented me in a family court proceeding that was far from simple, and she was incredibly adept at cutting through the noise and providing both reassurance and strategic legal advice. She is clearly very well-versed in the DC family court system and was excellent at explaining every step along the way. She was also extremely responsive and detail-oriented throughout the entire process, and I'm so grateful to have had her representing me.

I had a family-related hearing and when the other party "lawyered up" I felt very intimated to represent myself. Elizabeth Brown took on my case several days before the hearing. She was highly professional and was very well-prepared, even at such short notice. I cannot recommend Rebekah too highly. Caring, compassionate, hard-nosed professional advice and representation that transformed a potentially contestable divorce proceeding to an uncontested one. I had a bad experience with billing by a previous lawyer. Quite the opposite with this Office.
