My daughter and I were about to spend over $800 on items when the girl came over and asked me not to touch something because it was making her nervous. I was carrying a $500 item to the counter to purchase. At that point, we put down all the items that we were going to purchase because of the girls rudeness. I own a few businesses and I certainly would not appreciate losing out on around $1000 in sales . We set everything down and left. We will try to contact the original artist and buy the items through the artist, Because she was obviously not interested in making sales. Very cute shop. Unfortunately not a very good representative for your business. And by the way, I am 70 years old and my daughter is 40, and we are pretty experienced with shopping With breakables. Just very, very disappointed!! And I am 70 years old and my daughter is 40 years old. It’s not like we were being rambunctious with the artwork. And it was a small piece That was priced almost $500. Nothing for her to be nervous about in my opinion
My boyfriend and I are from out of town (Kansas City) and decided to stop in here after eating at the cafe nearby. My first thought was- WOW. As in wow- this place is awesome! They were all decorated for pride month and had super cute pride stickers that I purchased. The back wall was filled with amazing artwork from local artists. I wish I wasn’t a broke college student and could afford some of it- because they were offering contributions with the artwork to support Black women in public office. Something that I love. They also had a various amount of educational books, that focused on minority groups in America and the history around them.
Since it was raining...thought is would be nice to visit a gallery that offered a variety of artistic merchandise... The attendant was very personable and friendly, and knowledgeable in many areas... I had a good time learning that they are supportive in community-based issues. That they would showcase homeless artists...displayed so much about the mindset of the owner. And most of their works...are done by Oklahomans. I will be visiting often for the unique, creative...one of a kind gift...
