My wife and I stopped there for a coffee and scones…what a joke…my espresso was weak and tasteless so was the latte that my wife had ordered. In our scones all we could taste was baking powder and chemicals, it felt like those scones were baked 5 years ago then frozen and defrosted overnight. Never again…

Had a very disappointing experience at Dobbies. My elderly mother, with limited mobility was meeting her cousin both 92 years old. We sat at a booth in the restaurant but found out we had to move to get table service by 1 booth. The area was separated by tiny pot plants. The supervisor was called and was very rude saying that he couldn’t do anything and that we would need to move to get table service that was required and that it was clearly signposted. There were no signs. Despite the other members of staff being lovely, the jacked potato that I had was luke warm and not enjoyable. The flapjack was dry. The place had no atmosphere and was very drafty. I can see why Dobbies is empty. Will stick to Dunbar Garden Centre which is lovely, warm and very accommodating to elderly people.

Everytime we have a lovely experience, food is fresh, good seasonal selection of goods and staff is (almost) every time kind and happy to help. We (me and my kids) all love the atmosphere in the store! Garden tools are very pricey and I normally compare prices to Amazon - same make 20% less

We visited the cafe for breakfast thursday 20th and it was good The food is not particularly special but a nice breakfast What really makes the review 5 stars is the staff, particularly Jordy, we've been here multiple times and everytime we've been Jordy has been fantastic. He is always happy, friendly and helpful. It is obvious he enjoys his job and is always bustling around doing a fabulous job Also shout out to Mandy who took us our drinks and cleared our plates, she was also super friendly and very chatty They make the cafe a great place
