My wife and I traveled for Christmas and needed someone to take care of our furry family. In the past, we used another service, but had some issues with our last couple of visits. We saw some great reviews of Doggie District and decided to give them a try. Before Doggie District will let you board your pets, the pets (dogs for us) must visit the staff and be evaluated. Liam, our oldest, was a shoo-in; he is the most mellow dog. Sally is a recent rescue and had to return for a second visit before she was accepted. On the day of our trip, we dropped off our pets and left food and snacks. Our dogs were greeted by the staff and taken to the back. During our trip, Liam wasn't eating well for the first two days. The staff kept us informed, and after the second day, he started eating regularly. We checked in a couple of times after this to make sure everything was okay. The staff were responsive to our queries and told us both dogs were doing well. We picked up our dogs on Sunday afternoon, after one week at Doggie District. The staff was quick to get our pets and the remaining food. I wish we had opted to get both dogs groomed before pickup, but we didn't think about this when making the appointment. The next time we use Doggie District, we will add this service. I highly recommend Doggie District to care for your pets if you need to leave town and cannot take them with you.
My dog Lucy and I LOVE this place! They require temperament testing and vaccine records before your dog can play there, and there are always staff members in the play yards. So I feel super safe having Lucy play there. She can’t wait to get inside and play with her new friends! We’re all delighted with Doggie District!
We had a recent opportunity to engage the services of the trainer, Jacqueline. Our pup has been letting her anxiety get the better of her and we had been unable to confidently send her to play at daycare. We had some life events that spilled over onto our pup the past few months, as these things can do, and after visiting with Jacqueline about our issues and concerns she went to work. We went in twice a week and dropped off our little agitator, and slowly but surely, she became our well behaved and happy pup again! We are so happy to report that she has been back to playing at daycare again, being successful and enjoying her time there! Jacqueline really focused in on dealing with the specific behavior issues we were seeing and the bonus is how well she is doing here at home and in our neighborhood too! Thank you, Jacqueline, so, so much for all your efforts!
Absolutely love Doggie District Mesa! I've been so happy with how well the staff handles the dogs here. You can tell they really care about each pup and make sure every dog is safe, happy, and comfortable. I really appreciate the way they manage the playgroups, they know exactly when to give dogs space so they don’t get overwhelmed. It’s clear that safety and well-being are top priorities. It gives me such peace of mind knowing my dog is in a fun, structured environment with people who really know what they’re doing. Highly recommend Doggie District Mesa for anyone looking for a safe and happy place for their pup!
My pup, Ruger, loves Doggie District! They are great! He needed a little training and socialization help before he could be released into general day care, but the trainer, Toryan, worked with him and got him ready! The staff is fabulous! They come up with very good activities for the pups. They really make it a fun place to be. And as a dog mom, I love the extra effort they put forth to make them stand out. I got paw print flower paintings, doggie name badge Keychain, a little bday party picture and party gift bag. You pay a little extra for these, but the fee is minimal so I am happy to pay it. The fees for day care are reasonable as well. My dog doesn't like being home during the day, he much prefers being there.. As does our other dog, she likes him to be there as well! She's older and likes her peace, he's 2 and not tired, ever! 😂 If you are looking for a great, safe, fun place for your pup, go to Doggie District! His smiles tell you everything you need to know! 10/10 recommend!
