Tristen is wonderful! I had a hair highlight disaster from another salon and was leaving the next day for my niece’s wedding in Tennessee. He was so kind to me when I came in distraught and reassured me that he would do his best to make me look normal again. Like magic he worked a miracle! I make all my appointments with him now! Thank you so much Tristen!

I came in for a color correction knowing it would probably take a couple visits, but after only one visit I'm SO pleased with what they were able to accomplish!!!! My head was fully bleached when I came in. Sore scalp, spots of blue/silver, uneven all over as well. Now my hair feels softer, looks much more natural, and the cut is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous! I've already received 3 compliments on it and it's only been a few hours since I left the salon. Very happy with the color correction and cut, and looking forward to coming back! (Drove an hour n half to get here as well... Worth it!!)

Douglass Carroll is the gold standard hair-apy! I’m devoted to Noah and Caroline! The salon radiates energy and ease, and best of all, my color lasts for months! I don’t know their secret, but my hair has never been healthier. I trust them with every follicle of my being. The state inspector showed up mid-appointment, and you know what changed in the staff’s behavior? NOTHING. The competence matches the confidence, and I’ll gladly fly from anywhere to get my hair done here.

Every time I visit, he makes me feel confident, beautiful, and completely taken care of. 💖 He’s not just talented — he’s an artist who truly loves what he does, and that love shows in every detail. 🎨✂️ I recently went for a haircut and some highlights, and the result was gorgeous! 💛 The color came out a bit brighter than I expected, but Douglas was so kind and professional. Andrea is amazing. She listens and remembers everything and she is so so talented with both color and cut. I’ve lived in Los Angeles, Boston and San Francisco and been to the best of the best. Andrea tops them all. Douglas Carroll as a salon is wonderful and it feels like home when I walk in the door. When I first moved to Raleigh I went to a couple of other salons and felt like a number.
