I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while because it’s well deserved. I found Downtown Woody’s on Yelp years ago when I first got my dog and they do not disappoint. We actually drive to them from Manhattan…that’s how much we love them! They always listen to what we want and give Pamuk a great cut. They are also so sweet and try to make her comfortable because she hates taking a bath and getting groomed. Lastly, I LOVE that they let the dogs hang around when they’re done getting groomed and waiting to be picked up by their owners. Some other grooming salons I’ve seen will make them wait in small crates 😢

I’ve been taking my 6 year old Yorkiepoo PJ here since she was a puppy, and I’ve never even thought about using another groomer. She has a lot of separation anxiety, but Larissa and her team are always so great with her. She loves to play around in their backyard and meet all the other dogs who come in. She looks adorable every single time I pick her up, and I can tell that she’s had a great time in spite of her anxiety. Thank you for everything, Downtown Woody’s!

Downtown Woody’s is amazing! Out of a few groomers we’ve tried, our pups get the best haircuts here and they also LOVE going — they literally jump out of the car and can’t wait to go inside which makes me so happy because they dreaded their grooming appointments before with other groomers in the past. Thank you for always treating our pups so well and giving them such great haircuts all the time, we really appreciate all the care and patience you give our babies ♥️

Best groomer in town! We’ve been taking our 7 year old golden doodle (65lbs) there since we brought him home and he is thrilled to go to every appointment. It’s abundantly clear that he is well cared for, in addition to receiving a perfect cut each time. We’re very appreciative and grateful to have Downtown Woody’s be a part of our dog’s life. (Quick tip from a long time customer - make your appointments well in advance! They tend to book up fast, which is a testament to their good work.)

So happy with Millie’s grooming! We recently adopted her and she came to us super tangled and filthy (on the right). Couldn’t believe my eyes when I picked her up, her haircut is perfect and she is so happy! Will definitely be returning you guys do such an amazing job!!
