If you have come across Dragonfly Photography as a potential wedding photographer- submit the inquiry and book them. Oona was the first vendor that we booked and it was one of the best decisions that we made for our day. She and her team were absolutely incredible and so helpful throughout the planning process (we did not have a full service planner) and they really got to know us and made us feel so comfortable. Oona truly went above and beyond for us in terms of time, attention, thoughtfulness, planning, and obviously the final images. The investment was 100% worth it and I really feel like she gave us so much more than we could have ever asked for. We could not recommend her enough and we really feel like we gained a life long friend throughout the process :))
We cannot recommend Dragonfly enough! Oona and her team were absolutely amazing from start to finish. Our package included an engagement session, and Oona went above and beyond to make it happen quickly in Columbus so we could take advantage of good weather. She also provided great recommendations on different spots to take pictures. Most importantly we had a blast at our session. As a couple that doesn’t usually love being in front of the camera, we were shocked by how comfortable she made us feel and how many genuine laughs we had. The pictures came out absolutely amazing. For our wedding, Oona and her team brought such a fun vibe to our day and again made taking pictures such an enjoyable experience! We just got our album back last week and we are absolutely blown away. Oona and her team captured our day so perfectly and caught so many special moments on camera. We are so thankful to her and the team for making our day so incredible, as well as capturing the magic of the day and memories we will cherish forever! We are truly grateful to Oona and the entire Dragonfly team for making our day unforgettable and giving us the most magical photos to relive it over and over again. Highly, highly recommend!
Working with Oona and her team, was the best decision we made for our wedding. I had experienced their work at a friends wedding and knew we had to have them at ours. From the very first conversation, it was clear that Oona and her team are masters of their craft, but also care deeply about creating an unforgettable experience. Our engagement photos felt effortless and fun, and the photos were beyond anything we could have imagined—warm, authentic, and beautiful. But the wedding day is where the Dragonfly team was nothing short of perfection. They do everything to capture all the right moments in a split second, from the big ones to the small ones in between. The final gallery left us speechless. Every photo feels like a piece of art—timeless, emotional, and intentional. This was, without question, the most luxurious experience. And honestly? I would recommend Oona and Dragonfly Photography at any price point. Their work, professionalism, and presence on such a meaningful day are truly unmatched. Part of me looks back and thinks of Dragonfly as part of our family instead of a vendor who made our day possible. If you’re even considering them: book them. It will be one of the best choices you make.
Our experience with Dragonfly Photography has been amazing!!! My husband and I consider Oona and her team to be like family now. We absolutely adore them. When we initially got the recommendation to check out Dragonfly (Thank you Oni ) we were blown away from the images on their social media page (@thedragonflyphoto) alone. We then went to their website and were completely sold without speaking with anyone-we wanted Dragonfly to be our Wedding photography team. From start to finish Oona checked all the boxes, she is extremely talented, experienced, professional, “down to earth”, great personality and sense of humor, pays close attention to detail, soooo giving and thoughtful, believes in quality vs. quantity and her love for ALL PEOPLE is so apparent, the list goes on and we’re not embellishing, this woman is a genius. Our first in-person meeting with Oona was at our engagement photoshoot and she was just as warm and bubbly :-) With Oona we learned how to be comfortable in front of a camera before our wedding day (so much fun), afterward we had access to our photos very quickly-which was great to use for invitations etc, we received unexpected gifts in the mail-such as a gorgeous booklet of all things to expect and consider for our wedding day (Our photography Bible), we received detailed emails and always knew what to expect (the COMMUNICATION is top tier) and felt no stress in this area of our wedding planning. In our follow-up meetings with Oona we chatted about life and the chaos of wedding planning, she reassured us on so many worries we had, gave great suggestions, applied 0 pressure in our decision-making and in the end we were satisfied and excited for our big day!!! On our wedding day Oona and her talented team were professional, extremely patient, fun and were able to flow and adjust to any change that took place. {Sidenote: to any future bride and groom, get a photo team that is great with lighting, angles, uses quality products, has photographed beautifully in different venues/climates, I mean it makes a difference} Our family and guests were so impressed with how organized Oona and her team were. The day was truly a dream come true! We really could write a book about Dragonfly! Oona and her team made sure that the vision of our day was executed! We would like to give a special thank you to the ENTIRE Dragonfly team, especially those behind the scenes editing and answering emails etc. We would also like to shoutout our Wedding Day team: Oona, Gina, Oni and Ed! I have nothing but positive things to say about Dragonfly Photography! Oona and her team did an exceptional job from start to finish. They worked with us every step of the way and we’re very responsive and communicative. They worked on a very detailed timeline and family portrait list - I was very happy with the outcomes of both. Their team listens exceptionally well and followed exactly what we wanted or didn’t want. Oona went above and beyond by coming to Chicago for our engagement photos and sending us little gifts throughout our engagement that made us feel very special. She is not only a photographer but your very own personal hype woman and motivational speaker. She and the team treated us with nothing but kindness and respect. Her entire photography team made our wedding day go so smoothly. They also got our sneak peek photos back to us in the quickest timing I’ve ever seen. If I could go back, I would marry Oona (only kidding….) My husband was a little weary of the cost but after the wedding, he was so glad we went with Dragonfly Photography because of how much passion and work they put into our wedding day and throughout the entire process. We got so many compliments on them throughout the day and on their work. The photos from our engagement shoot and wedding day look phenomenal and we are so excited to get the rest of them! After my first interaction with Oona, I had no doubt she would do a phenomenal job. We will absolutely be using them in the future! We love Dragonfly!!!
