An amazing, one-of-a-kind experience! The space was extremely cozy & comforting (love a shoes-off household and the couches were v soft), and no pressure at all. My friend and I brought in lunch from a sandwich spot nearby, and chatted it up while eating before starting on our adventure to make rubber stamps. They have little cute guidebooks to tell you how to start and from there its all your own creativity, for however long you want!

Beautiful space! Highly recommend for gathering with friends or creating solo. Edit: be sure to check their Instagram for updates on open hours before dropping in; the website does not currently reflect closures for private events.

It was a rainy day yesterday, but I still motivated myself to check this place out. I would encourage you to follow @nycdrawingroom to check out other classes or visit their website. I signed up for the charm class, and it was so much fun! I had plenty of time to mingle and meet other creative folks while also focusing on my necklace and pair of earrings. The instructor was amazing, and the place had such an amazing vibe. I will definitely be coming back here again. Don’t forget to grab your free art passport. I believe once you visit the Drawing Room a certain number of times and receive a stamp each time you attend an activity, you can earn a free activity. I highly recommend this place. The ambiance and the people are super cool! Remember to bring your creative mindset and meet some awesome folks!

I celebrated my birthday at the Drawing Room and it was a magical experience! Meiying hosted a Watercolor workshop for the event and it was perfect for my range of friends, from those who are complete beginners to those who paint regularly. It was great mixing groups, as there were social warm up exercises and cozy nooks with comfy couches and chairs. We had a cake break that fit seamlessly into the workshop!!
