I cannot recommend this drivers ed program highly enough, and a huge part of that is due to the exceptional instructor, Mr. Mullins. As a parent, entrusting someone with your child’s safety on the road is a nerve-wracking experience. Mr. Mullins turned those nerves into complete confidence. From day one, he created an environment that was both structured and supportive. My daughter, who was initially very anxious about driving, came home from each lesson feeling more capable and calm. Mr. Mullins has a true gift for teaching—he is patient, clear, and explains the "why" behind every rule and maneuver. He never raised his voice; instead, he used humor and real-world examples to make lessons stick. What truly sets Mr. Mullins apart is his focus on defensive driving and building judgment, not just skills. He emphasized anticipating other drivers' actions, navigating complex intersections, and handling adverse conditions with a level of detail that went far beyond just passing the test. He was preparing her for a lifetime of safe driving. He was also incredibly professional and communicative. He was always punctual, the car was immaculate, and he provided clear, constructive feedback after each lesson, which was incredibly reassuring for me as a parent. He treated my daughter with respect, which boosted her confidence immensely. Thanks to Mr. Mullins’s expert instruction, my daughter passed her driving test on the first try with flying colors. But more importantly, she got behind the wheel afterwards with a sense of responsibility and preparedness that I know will keep her safe. To any parent looking for a top-tier drivers ed experience: choose this program, and if you’re lucky enough to get Mr. Mullins as your instructor, you’ve hit the jackpot. An elderly instructor from this company with license plate “219” from this company almost drove into my car. Didn’t use a turn signal and cut me off near Meijer on Keystone today around 3:00pm, almost t-boning me on my side. Didn’t even care, might not have even realized. A dangerous, elderly instructor on the roads is enough for me to give a one star.
Kristy Rhorer was my son’s instructor. We had a wonderful experience with her. Kristy was professional, communicative and set my son up for success behind the wheel.
Gwendolyn Jackson is the BEST!!! She taught my daughter so much and was patient and kind. If you need a great instructor definitely ask for Gwen!!
My daughter had Gwendolyn Jackson as her instructor through CIESC. She was wonderful! We did have to wait a couple of months for an initial time to open up, but then it was easy to schedule with Ms. Jackson for all her lessons. She gave my daughter lots of practical advice, and focused on driver safety and awareness of her surroundings. My daughter felt very comfortable with Ms. Jackson because she was patient and calm.
