Another amazing coffee spot in Pittsburgh. Very unique in that this shop works directly with the farmers they purchase their beans from! So the coffee you get is some of the freshest you can possibly find. Most of their offerings lean towards the medium side of things with only a few medium-light roasts. All of it is excellent!

Truly exceptional specialty coffee spot! The owner talks about each bean, he actually knows the farms and farmers personally, because he sources the beans directly and builds long-term relationships with them. You can taste that care in the cup. We tried espresso, cortado & a pour over, everything was great! The pour over preparation was almost ceremonial: from warming the cup and the filter cone to carefully timing each pour, every little detail felt intentional. The result was a clean, sweet, beautifully balanced cup!

Def a brisk coffee jaunt on Sat morning, but so worth it! When your girl Gina, reaches out and wants to join you, it's an, absolutely! :) It's one of my top 5! She had mentioned De Fer Coffee space, which has multiple shops, so I opted to choose Highline Complex, South Side where I have been before. The view of the city alone,Top 5! We were talking with Bella the barista, for a while and she mentioned the new company name is Dynamic Coffee Roasters.I noticed 3 glass tubes w/a squeeze bulb pump attached and she explained that its a way for you to smell the fresh aroma of coffee without opening a bag.! It's called a Coffee Aroma Display. Loved that! Attached to the shop is a beautiful common area! G and I hung out for a long time! Coffee & Conversation! The perfect morning!

Super cute spot! A little challenging to find if you’re not familiar with the city since it’s on the upper level, but once you spot the hanging coffee sign, it’s easy to recognize from afar. There’s tons of space for studying or working, which I loved. I ordered a lavender coffee, it was really good, but a bit too cold, especially on a winter day. Would definitely try it again though! Also really nice to grab a coffee there and then walk the color park.

One of the best coffee shops in the city! I came with my Honduran fiancé, having heard about what is now the city’s only Honduran coffee shop. We were so pleased to meet the owner and his sister, both from the same region of Honduras as my fiancé 😄 The coffee and food were excellent, with friendly service, good music, beautiful pictures of Honduran coffee farming, and comfortable indoor & outdoor seating. The Honduran coffee is also bagged for sale. The owner is a coffee expert and does a lot the roasting for De Fer. Go upstairs to the high line (very slightly off from where it’s marked on Google Maps. Google takes you to the street below) and you’ll find it. Calm location with only foot traffic and a view of the river when you exit and walk left.
