My family fostered through EA for about five years and cared for multiple children during that time, including high-needs placements. We entered fostering wanting to make a lasting difference and were fully committed to providing stability and love for the kids in our care. Unfortunately, our experience with EA became increasingly difficult over time. We went through multiple social workers, many of whom left the agency due to poor work conditions or low pay, which meant there was rarely any stability or consistent communication. The support staff position also had constant turnover, making it hard to build continuity or trust. Important paperwork was sometimes misplaced after being collected from our home, and requests for help or clarification often went unanswered. Fostering is incredibly challenging, and families need an agency that truly stands beside them. While there were a few staff members who cared deeply, the constant staff changes and lack of support left us feeling isolated and ultimately pushed out rather than supported. If you’re considering fostering, I strongly recommend exploring other agencies that can offer stability, reliable communication, and consistent partnership with their families.

Don't recommend EA to no parenting youth they set me up for failure didn't get a stipend DONT HELP WITH GETTING FINANCIAL HELP only been here 3 months I've had 3 different case workers everybody tell me something different. Don't support you with your kid and she has disabilities! I give a 0 rating my apartment was nice though barely no parking in the Carmel pointe and they don't pay the rent on time or it gets sent in late and the property manager doesn't get it on time instead of sending it 2 days or 3 before they send it on the first had the property manager leave multiple 3 day notices on my door!
