Earthbody was introduced to me by my friend & colleague fellow nurse Alisa. I instantly loved it. The feel of the place is so comfortable & relaxing. Esp with Tristan as the first person you see, greets you so warmly and sets you up w a tea to prepare your body to relax. I thought they closed but got an email for a promo to come on a weekday ! I jumped on that. Got a 90 min signature massage w a facial add on with moe. Moe takes the time to ask you what you need, how you wanna focus your time. I told him about the clicks & tension on both my shoulder muscles & he went to town on them. Usually a masseuse massages it a few times then moves on. He spent a lot of time there with hot towels and great pressure. I will be coming back! It was amazing & I felt so good after. The tea after was great with a lemon grass hot towel & even the bathroom is so nice with cloth towels to dry your hands.

OMG! I have been wanting to try this spot for awhile and I am happy to say I finally did. You walk into this beautiful, calming environment and instantly you are greeted by a warm friendly face. The check in process was easy and after check in, I was presented with a lovely tray with a warm towel to cleanse my hands, DELICIOUS hibiscus herbal tea and water, and a beautiful floral arrangement..... let the pampering begin. I started with the Earthbody Massage and added in the hot neck massage. The holiday stresses have left me a bit stiff and the universe gave me the right gal to fix me right up. Alina was amazing. We spoke about my body and concerns before beginning. She also explained the massage I chose and the neck massage - since this was my first time. This woman has magic hands. I was soo relaxed by the end of the massage it felt like I was in deep meditation. I did not want this experience to end. Next time I will enjoy the longer massage. This is such a beautiful, magical spot. My only complaint is that I haven't been sooner. Thank you soo much for the reset!

From being greeted with a cup of tea and hot towel, through an expert and very relaxing massage, to a final cup of tea of recommendations for extending the benefits of my massage at the end of the session, everything about Earthbody was perfect. I met with Jae who expertly mixed working through my tight muscles with a truly relaxing massage. It is the best massage I have had in a very long time and was certainly the best value massage. My husband had a similar experience in his massage with Moe. I think everyone here is great and I'd highly recommend a visit.

I have gone to Earthbody roughly twice a year the entire time I’ve lived in SF (6 years). Once you go here you will not want to go anywhere else. Every therapist I’ve had has been fantastic, the experience itself is wonderful, and I always leave feeling renewed and optimistic. Typically, I just go in as treat to myself, I do not have any chronic ailments except perhaps inasmuch as spending money on massages is an ailment, and get a whole body massage for 90 minutes, and I am nicer to everyone I see for the next several days. I am usually in too good of a mood to do things like look at emails after I leave which is part of why it has taken me so long to write a review. But I was especially motivated by my therapist today, Adina, with whom I discussed my recent lower back stiffness and she subsequently wrung me like a towel. It was fabulous. She also recommended stretches and day-to-day advice for avoiding so much tension in my lower back in the future. Earthbody is an excellent location which I always recommend to any of my friends asking for a massage.

Okay, so I've had lots of massages. Some good some not so. But let me tell you, this place knows what they are doing. The intentionality is evident the moment you walk in. Their reception is a actual reception. A warm welcome with tea, a rose, and a warm scented towel. Then there is Ish. Ish is/was my massage therapist. Seriously one of the best massages I've had in my life. And to top it off there is aftercare. What an amazing experience. Is it expensive? Yep, sure is. Even if you only splurge once at least you'll know what an amazing massage experience is like.
