This place is dangerous going to. They have samples all the time of various pastries to try, their breakfast is delicious, and their actual baked good are amazing. I suggest trying their cinnamon rolls and their cake slices.

I typically drive 2+ hours to come to Edgar's on the weekend. For the past 3 weekends I've come down it's been disappointing but the visit from today has made me realize that I will no longer visit this particular location ever again in Providence. We arrive at 5:45pm to get the cinnamon rolls my husband loves so much. We were told that an hour and 15 minutes before closing that they were indeed not going to be bringing out anymore cinnamon rolls. The last weekend we were here they did the same thing and it was okay because it was about 30 mins to closing. They are in such dire straights to close and get out of the building that they won't even bring out goods for customers. Because we had to get the pecan cinnamon rolls my husband asked could he please get some cream cheese frosting and of course we would pay for it. We were told by the young lady that Edgar's changed their policy and that wasn't allowed even though we were going to pay for it. I haven't even pulled off from the store as I'm writing this because I'm frustrated at the service I have constantly experienced at this location. It's always this lackadaisical disposition of the young people who work there when we come and to be quite honest it's no getting around it because it's everywhere with this generation but at Edgar's it used to be really top tier customer service when we visited. My husband and I will try the other locations in Huntsville/Madison area and hopefully it will be better from them. If not I will unfortunately no longer patronize this business. I understand wanting to go home but not putting things out an entire 1hr and 15 mins before closing because you simply don't want to, it's inexcusable for a business. The manager that was working tonight, I can't remember her name but she was a plus sized Caucasian woman...her disposition wasn't pleasant at all and she was the one who informed me that they weren't going to put out anymore cinnamon rolls. We drive a long distance because we love Edgar's treats. Also one thing I notice as well is that they have a set price of $4+ dollars for the cake slices. The slices should be uniform. Why are the slices of cake at this store some large, some SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than others? But they're all the same price. Is the size of the cakes based on how they feel that day? What is preventing the cakes from being cut the same slice for the same price? I don't understand this either. Anyway, I hope this location gets better but I for one won't spend my money any longer in the Providence location anymore.

Super tasty food and amazing service. Very nice to see and I appreciate it so much. Do yourself a favor and try the T Bird Sandwich with a side of their pasta salad. It was phenomenal

I ordered a custom birthday cake from Edgar’s for a 20-year-old’s birthday, and it was absolutely perfect! We went with chocolate cake and chocolate frosting, topped with fun confetti decorations—it looked great and tasted even better. The cake was rich, moist, and full of flavor. Everyone at the party loved it and kept asking where it was from. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a delicious and well-made custom cake!
