Eggroll Queen is just that- THE QUEEN! I've never in my life enjoyed eggrolls THIS good. I've had dreams about them. Frigid winter days, and hot sweaty summers, I can ALWAYS count on an Eggroll Queen truck to satisfy a craving. I saw they are doing teaching classes and I have got to get in on one of those. To the Queen 👑 and all of her staff: THANK YOU for bringing your light and sharing this delicious food with our community. We all benefit from you being here, and so appreciate your hard work and dedication. I'll be seeing you again soon!
Took their basic egg roll class today and it was great. There are some ingredients that require hours to prep so those were done for us but learning what ingredients, how they mixed and how to roll the egg rolls was fun. My son loved this as a Christmas present.
Complete garbage egg rolls. $5.50 a piece and you end up getting something that is 95% noodles inside. Makes no sense to be so skimpy when ground pork is 2 bucks a pound. You could put 4 oz. of meat in there and it would cost them 50 cents total. Add everything else and you’re talking 70 cents maximum cost for everything else that makes up a full egg roll. At $5.50 they would still have an enormous profit margin, so skimping out on the meat is just absurd. Go test it out for yourself. I was excited at first and ended up completely disappointed. Go pay $5.50 for a handful of rice noodles wrapped in an egg roll sheet. Hopefully you really like rice noodles.
Came to my work today and these are huge so I'm being very generous with these stars for the value. That being said these were super mid 🤷♀️ Sauce is very sweet forward and lacking spice, sour, and umami. The two egg rolls (pork and chicken) we had were hot and crispy. Unfortunately they were also super bland and the meat was so dry it was almost as if it was rehydrated meat. Unlike another review I could tell the difference between pork and chicken but only by the the dryness of the meat. All this could be fixed pretty easily with less cook on the meats and loads of spices garlic and a spicy fish sauce vinegar for dipping. Seems to me alot of Minnesotans palates could like this as is. The reviews are allover the board, it's just not for us.
First time! We got 3 pork rolls at the New Brighton farmer’s market today and they were the best eggrolls I’ve personally ever had. Even converted a picky eater! The outside was thin, golden brown + flaky. The inside is a nice mix of chopped vermicelli noodles, cabbage and carrot, and crumbly well-done ground pork (probably steamed?). Made for a very consistent and flavorful bite! Sauce was good as well. Service was quick, they just had some fresh and ready to go for whoever’s next. We waited about 20 to get home and dig in and they were still hot and crunchy. Surprised to see so many bad reviews, not sure what all these people are on about. It feels a little rude to leave 1 star just because you expected different components. Leaving photos saying there’s no meat in, when you can see the meat distributed throughout in the photo…lame. My photo for reference (the white crumbles are meat y’all). Excited to come back and try the fried rice!
