This was our first visit to El Patrón, and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing, but the real standout was the spotless restaurant and the exceptional service. Our waitress, Valerie, went above and beyond and checked in frequently. We would absolutely recommend El Patrón to anyone!

Excellent over all atmosphere, cleaning crew was out. Greeted upon entry, our waitresses was Jessi, very pleasant lady she took in consideration of our orders. I wish that I had taken more funds to tip bigger. She keep drinks filled, and often check on us for anything else. The seaon for holiday theme was so beautiful 😍! We was recommend to this place by hair salon employee at Cristina B Salon. It was worth get the haircut style, and jumping over to El Patron for dinner! It was nice to experience my gentleman getting pamper! 😌 Thanks for being local in Tulsa, Ok @ElPatron 👍🏻 The food amazing, and plentiful options on the menu was amazing! I had the tortilla soup!

My best friend from junior high took me here after being gone from Tulsa over a decade. 10/10, no fake Tex-Mex here, puro sabor auténtico. Tastes just like abuela used to make back in Laredo, but with that Tulsa twist. El Patrón on 51st ¡qué chido! Fresh ingredientes, perfecto salsas, and a vibe that says “mi casa, su casa.”

I really wanted to check out the second floor view and atmosphere. It was beautiful all around. We ordered El Acapulco and Super Enchiladas. I really enjoyed the chips and variety of salsas!

The exterior and interior of the restaurant are both very inviting—much more stylish and polished than many other Mexican restaurants in the area. I really enjoyed the variety of salsas to start with, and our drinks were excellent. The menu can feel a little overwhelming at first glance, but it offers a wide range of options depending on what you’re craving. The service, however, left something to be desired. We chose to sit on the patio, and during the hour we were there, our waters were only refilled twice. Considering it wasn’t a particularly busy evening, the lack of attentiveness from our server was disappointing. As a side note, the patio would be much more comfortable with ceiling fans to help on warmer nights. Overall, it was a good experience, and I’m glad we gave this restaurant a try. With a bit of improvement in service, it has the potential to be an excellent spot.
