I highly recommend Elevate Health & Performance. Hector Bones, the founder and owner, welcomed me with open arms several years ago. He made me feel welcomed, assessed my goals, and matched me with a trainer who could best serve my needs. The facility that he has created is unpretentious and welcoming. I also cannot recommend my trainer Desmond Brennan enough. I've been working with Desmond for a few months now, and the progress I've made is incredible. He's knowledgeable, supportive, and pushes me to be my best in every session. He takes the time to understand my goals and creates personalized workouts that cater to my needs. On top of that, his positive energy and encouragement have not only helped me physically but also boosted my confidence. I highly recommend Desmond to anyone looking for a motivating and effective training experience. As someone who has not done any formal exercise in decades, i was quite intimidated to start. Elevate's owner Hector and the Personal trainer assigned Desmond Brennan quickly put those fears to rest. Elevate was gracious enough to include a package as an auction item to support our local graduate hospital school. After we won, he promptly reached out for a general meeting to discuss goals. After we had our meeting, he modified the package that was auctioned to fit what would work best to achieve my goals. After completing the initial auction package, I was more than happy to renew for an additional 20 sessions. Des has been great to work with. He is personable and scales the workout to your pace while also challenging you. I have already seen progress in my general fitness and overall strength What felt like a stressful endeavor at first has become something i really look forward to continuing.
Amazing gym with a welcoming community and knowledgeable staff! Hector made me feel at home with his expertise in exercises and workouts tailored to all fitness levels. While interning in Philadelphia over the summer, I needed a place to strength train in the evenings, and Emma was incredibly accommodating, making it easy to stick to my workout routine. The Saturday small group workouts were a highlight—an excellent way to meet people and stay motivated. I can’t recommend this place enough!
Love this gym so much! Great for physical therapy, personal training, and really whatever else you need to feel great and healthy. It's a beautiful space and the trainers are excellent. Hector, the founder, is wonderful. If you aren't sure about what you need or what would be a good fit he will sit down with you and help you figure it out or point you in the right direction. Super nice and good people!
I first started training with Elevate Health & Performance 12 years ago because my wife was expecting our first child and, as an older dad, I wanted to make sure that I could keep up with the physical demands of parenting. It was a great decision. I can still easily pick up my 11-year-old (well, maybe not easily, but I can do it!) and I am able to keep pace when we are running around. I'm grateful to Elevate Health that this is true. All of the trainers at Elevate Health are friendly and kind, and have a long-term outlook about your health and conditioning. They meet you where you are, and then begin to challenge you. The workouts are thoughtful and will keep you safe. The tone of the trainers is one of encouragement, but even though they aren't drill sergeants, they will make you work! The gym itself is a bright and pleasant place, and I'm always happy to be there. It is kept scrupulously clean. There are private showers stocked with towels, liquid soap and shampoo, and even shaving cream if you need it. I highly recommend Elevate Health & Performance. They are wonderful guides on your fitness journey.
