Lilly groomed our Ozzie for the first time and did a great job! He is a little poodle mix but I don’t like the poodle cut. He came out looking exactly as I hoped. Added bonus, the dapper bow tie. Very reasonably priced too. 10/10 Definitely recommend!

My now 10mo golden retriever puppy has been coming here for a weekend stay about once monthly for approximately 6mo now. She loves it (and so do I). Her 1st stay was a 2wk training with Bill, who constantly offers encouragement, tips and refreshers and continues to return for a play time with her new friends.

I took my Australian Shepherd in for a de-shed treatment. I dropped him off at 8am and he was finished around 3pm. He came out looking fabulous, all the extra hair and mats were gone, and he was clearly happy! Having an option for a service that is geared towards double coated dogs is wonderful - and they clearly know what they are doing! Thank you!

I have experience with several dogs trained at Elkhound Ranch, they are all well behaved. I have a very high energy King Charles Cavalier who I was challenged with training despite having dogs all my life. I took Leo, my Cavalier, to Elkhound Ranch for training; the results were amazing! He is so well behaved: heels perfectly, will sit or lay down on command and stay until released. He stays in the place position until released. Leo does all this even with distractions like rabbits, squirrels, cars (which he use to chase), people and small children. I appreciate the customized training and care provided to Leo while he was staying at Elkhound Ranch. They are kind and accommodating. I received weekly videos of his progress. One of the best features of the training is that Bill, the trainer, spent a lot of time training me to help and continue to work with Leo. Because of my personalized training, I have been able to train Leo to recognize our property boundaries and stay within these boundaries. Elkhound Ranch is amazing!

We boarded our lab Violet for 9 nights and she did great here. The staff was very reassuring with me during drop off and we discussed her reactivity issues with other dogs. I called mid week to check on her and got a status update. Sunday pickup was quick and she received a complementary bath that day. Great experience!
