You need Ellie Koleen to photograph your wedding!!!! I had my wedding at Villa Loriana in San Luis Obispo this spring. From the moment we met Ellie via Zoom, we were drawn to her calm and welcoming energy. Her portfolio speaks for itself, and what really makes her stand out is her incredible personality. She made me feel so calm and supported on the wedding day; I completely trusted her. She is a master at her craft, I mean WOW. She gave us a bunch of sneak peek photos just a few days after the wedding, and I fell in love. She has a way of capturing candid moments so beautifully without you even realizing she's taking the photo!! I can't wait to see the rest of them. We really loved her organic, candid style of photography because we wanted to prioritize spending time with our friends and family, rather than spending too much time taking staged photos. Ellie totally understood and make the portrait sessions feel like a breeze! We feel so lucky to have found Ellie Koleen Photography and I cannot recommend her enough.

Ellie was one of the absolute best decisions we made for our wedding. If you don't want to read my whole review, just know that you would be making the right choice by booking with Ellie!! I will recommend her to all my friends, colleagues, family, etc. to her! Professional, incredible photos, kind, funny, generous, the list goes on.. She made my husband and I feel completely comfortable throughout the entire day, which was extremely important to me as I'm not the most comfortable in front of a camera. She took the time to hop on an impromptu call just to go over everything with me, and talk through the day. I really appreciated her attention to detail, and her easy going personality. I even told her some aspects of my body I am self conscious about, and asked her to call out if my pose was unflattering -- and she did!! Have I mentioned the pictures yet?! They were incredible! We were so thankful we chose Ellie with such an important part of our special day! I've gotten countless amounts of compliments about how wonderful they are, and I'm so pleased with how they turned out. I really loved how she used a digital and film camera, so we could a variety of effects to our photos, which created a lot of unique shots that I don't feel many other photographers offered. On the wedding night she also was extremely generous with her time and attention, and made sure we got a few extra shots that I had forgotten before. We also got our photos and "sneak peeks" way faster than I ever thought. Thank you again Ellie! Can't wait to work with you again!

Ellie is incredible, and choosing her as our wedding photographer was undoubtedly one of the best decisions we made! She has gifted us with the most extraordinary memories, skillfully capturing special and unique moments that allow us to continually relive the magic of our wedding day. Throughout the entire process, Ellie was so kind and fun, making us feel completely at ease. It was an experience that surpassed all our expectations and every couple's dream come true! The photographs Ellie produced are absolutely beautiful. From the meticulous detail shots to the heartwarming family portraits and the captivating sunset photos of us, she caught every cherished moment, including the candid ones in between. Ellie was nothing short of AMAZING! She was sweet, patient, professional, and made us feel completely normal in front of a camera for our special wedding day! Ellie was dynamic and quick with our huge family and bridal party pictures! She knew EXACTLY what shots to take which helps us enjoy as much time with our loved ones. Update 12/3/21 Ellie has been taking our pictures for 8 years now! She's taken my college graduation photos, engagement photos, bridal shower photos, boudoir photos, wedding photos, maternity photos, and two different family sessions. My husband and I love the style of her work because it's timeless and classic. Ellie is so easy and fun to work with and her photos have documented our most precious days. I'll add some photos for reference because they certainly speak for themselves! Ellie is so wonderful to work with! She recently took our engagement photos in Napa and they turned out better than I could have dreamed! She's professional but so easy to talk to. Her creativity is amazing and she made us feel completely at ease during our engagement shoot. Can't wait to have her take our wedding photos next year!
