Marissa not only captured our wedding day, she captured our story, our personalities and our emotions. She is such a light and really brings the energy to each and every shoot. Marissa was an absolute joy to work with! We used her 3x in one year for engagement photos, wedding photos, and (obviously) new puppy photos! My husband and I had never been much for taking pictures, so I was a little nervous for our first shoot. She did a great job of balancing professionalism and making us feel like we were old friends catching up, which created the most comfortable atmosphere. Marissa is a natural and so fun to work with. We have been able to work with her on three different occasions and loved her work every time! I did a boudoir session with her and was so nervous before hand. She went above and beyond to help me feel confident and beautiful throughout the whole session! The pictures were perfect and everything i wanted! Every single time we have worked with her she has blown us away with her work! She is so easy to work with and creative in her shooting. She sat down with me before my wedding and had so many great ideas for our pictures, I could have sat there all day and chatted with her! She has such a great personality and is able to make everyone she shoots feel confident and comfortable! We will be using her for all of our photography needs forever! We love Elmwood photography!
Marissa is AMAZING! We were so nervous before our engagement pictures and didn't know what to expect. Marissa made it comfortable from the very beginning and by the end we thought we were models! :) My favorite thing about Marissa is that she captures moments and not just posed photos. You see people's personalities and love in her pictures. Also, if you get the chance, use her boat. You will not be disappointed!
Marissa has worked with me on numerous projects for my small business. Not only does she capture the day/event perfectly but when going through the gallery it's for a second time goes back to that certain place. When it came to finding a photographer to take my partner and I's photo, I knew to look no further. Joe and I loved having Marissa in our home to not only capture us in our element, but also get a sense of us as a couple.
