I recently had the pleasure of visiting this tattoo shop while in town from SoCal, and I can't recommend it enough! I walked in on a Friday night without an appointment and was greeted by Angelo, who went above and beyond to accommodate me. He quickly brought in Carla, an incredibly talented artist, to work on my tattoos. Carla was fantastic! She took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. Her light touch made the experience so much smoother than I expected, and the results were absolutely stunning. My finger and hand tattoos turned out even better than I had imagined! I couldn’t be happier with my experience or the final results. It’s bittersweet knowing I live so far away now because I can’t wait to get more tattoos, and I only want Carla to do them! If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and check this place out—you won’t regret it! ♥️

This shop is what it’s all about. We had a bad experience at another shop in town, and the owner of Elysian, Angelo (@tattoo_angelo), went above and beyond to make us feel heard and address our concerns. Artist Logan (@nativestattoos) did amazing work on my wife and I can’t wait to go back in for my piece and future pieces. I will post some photos after the work is done! Both Logan and Angelo were an absolute pleasure to work with, I highly recommend Elysian Tattoo Gallery. All the artists there are super friendly, knowledgeable, and dedicated to their craft. Having been tattooed at a few shops in Sacramento, this is by far the best we have been to in terms of hospitality, cleanliness, and quality work! Tell them Mike and Kelly sent you!

I had a walk-in appointment with Addie and got both a finger and face tattoo. She is absolutely amazing—super fun to talk to, and her line work is incredibly precise. I would trust her again and again without hesitation! I’m definitely coming back for more work. The shop itself is just as impressive. The owners were incredibly inviting, offering water upon entry and being completely transparent about pricing. They took the time to chat and really get to know us, which made the whole experience feel personal and welcoming. The cleanliness of the shop stood out, and everyone on staff was knowledgeable, offering great feedback on our tattoo ideas and placement. Overall, it was a 5/5 experience—highly recommended for anyone looking for quality work in a friendly, professional environment. I’ll be back for sure!

I had an incredible experience with Karla—hands down the best tattoo artist I've ever worked with! From the initial consultation to the final piece, everything was flawless. The attention to detail, precision, and overall skill were outstanding. The studio is clean, comfortable, and professional, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a talented artist who genuinely cares about their work and your vision, I highly recommend Karla. I can't wait for my next session!

I first found out about Elysian through an artist by the name of Logan or his instagram Nativestattoos. Logan has been such a professional artist. He has been reliable and honestly just a cool person to get tattooed by. I have got rough spots tattooed such as the stomach the knee and the back, and he has been patient with me through the whole entire process. We came up with all the designs and he really does accommodate and comes up with such beautiful ideas I really do recommend him. He’s awesome! As for the shop Elysian has made me feel at home, the owner Angelo just makes you feel like you’ve know him for years and they always just has fun. All the artist there are dope Carlos, Jose, Angelo, Logan and all the dope guest artist they have. Honestly the shop is dope. If your ever in Sacramento definitely go check them out. They’ll make you feel welcomed and that’s hard to say about a tattoo shop they will literally work with you and find the right artist !!!
