I can't believe I haven't reviewed sooner! This is my favorite bookshop in Buffalo and beyond. A great collection of books, a great atmosphere, and two of the nicest booksellers you'll ever meet. Five stars aren't enough!

So glad to have such a cool bookstore with an amazing collection of curated books right on Hertel! The owners are amazing and add so much to our community! The books are all in fantastic condition and so affordable. Keep up the great work!

I visited Em and Em's right before the turn of the New Year and had a fun time! They are small and growing but have a great selection of leisure reads, including books for children, young adults, and adults, ranging from nonfiction to fiction. They intersperse used and new books (great for me as I prefer buying used!) and I got a cute tote bag while I was there. The location is also great, at the North Park and Hertel intersection, so one can grab a Spot Coffee and a book.

Such a cute book store with a lovely selection! What I appreciate most is how easy it is to actually pursue the books. In my experience, used bookstores have so much stock that they end up feeling claustrophobic and overwhelming. Contrastingly, Em and Em's Book's is spacious, inviting, and the shelves aren't overcrowded so you can easily see all the book titles. And as a bonus, if you want to support a local business but don't want to add to your TBR, there are a smattering of other items (stickers, candles, DVDs) on offer.

So excited that I found this bookshop that is right across from the North Park Theatre! They have a great mix of new and used books with a variety of genres. I purchased two books that had been on my TBR list. I attended the Crafty Book Club event on October 30th and it was a fun and lowkey gathering. Can't wait to come back and attend more events!
