My favorite space and place to host events!! I have hosted multiple events in this space and it never disappoints!! The decor, the layout, the AV available equipment and the atmosphere is exactly what the name says - empowering! The registration, set up, payment and even clean up process is seamless. I will be hosting events here forever. Thank you for creating this space for moms and women to feel seen!

I had a phenomenal experience! The event I hosted at this venue is definitely memorable! I love the digital aspects of doing business and the owner was incredible catering to our needs and details! Thank you ! This spot is a perfect asset in our community.

I, Denise Toney Designs, have rented the Empowerment Studio two consecutive months in a row for my community art project, "Newark Lifts, Newark Lights Through the Arts", and both times EVERYTHING FAR EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS! From being able to do a walk-through within a very short time of initially contacting them to the online rental process which was easy to complete. Towanda even personally confirmed that portion of the process, making sure everything accurately reflected my desires in writing. I sincerely appreciate the fact that payment plans were available. The décor, which I believe enhanced my inaugural event, was EXTRAORDINARILY OUTSTANDING! This space spoke to the community art workshop participants I was serving, so much so, that they could not stop exclaiming about this remarkable space. And, the fact that there are not just one, but two levels makes this space a definite win! The groovy lounge vibe is infectious – from the fireplaceS to the selfie stationS to the cutest rest room ever – EVERYTHING WAS ABSOLUTELY EXQUISITE! Anytime I needed to contact someone from the Empowerment Studio, my calls were immediately answered or responded to within a short period of time. I am greatly thankful for the above-and-beyond touches like having assistance with promoting my event with the pre-fabbed 10-slide promotion templates that were on the three screens before I even got there. Also, Towanda set my audio playlist up and sent me a video of her singing along with it to let me know that everything was all set up properly and ready to go! I HIGHLY recommend The Empowerment Studio for your space rental needs.

My Experience with the Empowerment Studios was AMAZING. Where do I begin, since day one of submitting my inquiry Towanda was very attentive. The venue space and location are GREAT. The inside is BEAUTIFUL, the decor is up to date and very chic. My sister and myself hosted our first Women Empowerment Brunch and it was The perfect location. I highly Recommend this venue, this won’t be my last time working with the Empowerment Studios

Fabulous and even better my experience was amazing from start to finish. I had The Empowerment Studio on my dream board to host an event and I recently had the opportunity to host my first brunch here. I fell in love with the studio by just looking at the pictures online. I booked my event before even coming to tour the space because I just knew I had to have my empowerment brunch here. Soon as you walk in you feel empowered by the vibes, the decor is phenomenal, affirmations all over to make you feel seen, and inspired. Of course having my favorite colors in here just added the special touch. Towanda and Kai worked with me up until the day of to make sure I had everything I needed and more. These ladies are patient, kind, always available, professional, made me feel comfortable and supported the ENTIRE time. Communication was stellar and providing all you need the day off was extremely helpful and I’m grateful. I was able to do walk throughs utilizing the time to set up the space exactly the way I needed. They had a custom flyer created for my event to have a visual to present on the three tv’s, yes three which everyone just loved. I had access to sound, audio, and playlist that had our guests dancing and singing. I created a space to have a buffet table for out guests and room to relax and lounge. I didn’t need much decorations because the space has everything you need. I love my experience and I love the studio so much the day of my event I called already trying to host another. 😉 Make sure you book you next event here and you won’t be stained.
